I had a very nice time in the small community of the community. Tasks are varied. The food is really really good. Maria, Ricardo and all the people I met are really kind and open-minded. I really recommend this place if you are looking to get closer to nature, live more eco-friendly or looking for some peace of mind.

Ricardo and Maria are such beautiful souls. They were so welcoming and kind and it was great to cook and eat yummy and new vegan food all week! I learnt a lot about living ecologically and it was lovely meeting their family and friends and being taken on excursions around Nisa. I miss the river !!

Living in the community is like living in a dream: walking everyday in a heaven with beautiful landscape, stunning flowers, birds singing and unique and awesome souls. While there I learnt a lot about permaculture techniques and portuguese/spanish/south America culture, I expanded my horizons, I went deep in my interests, I get involved in amazing builds and in the making of a super tasty paella! Great place, people with big heart, a lot to do and to enjoy: definitely recommend. I'll be back there for sure!

My experience with Ricardo and Maria was truly amazing! They are really nice people and incredibly aware about sustainability and being more connected to nature, it has for sure brought me some things that I will keep in my daily life after that. The landscape in the community is also a pure beauty, you never get bored of the sunsets, the river and the nature around. The work is really nice as well, there are many different great things to do. And we shared some good moments all together every day Muito obrigado por tudo Maria and Ricardo, espero poder voltar um dia :))

The community is a place of stunning natural beauty, home to incredibly kind and ecologically conscious humans. Whilst staying there with my partner, Maria and Ricardo welcomed and embraced us as part of the family. We learnt about syntropic agriculture whilst working on their agroforestry plot; planting trees/shrubs, mulching and preparing Hazel for fence making. We also prepared vegetable beds for planting and learnt practical construction-based skills. Work hours were always fair and considerate. We sang and swam. The food was exquisite and the company merry. Saí tão feliz como um perdiz!

The community is a beautiful peaceful paradise, I spent an incredible month here connecting with the land and it's people. Maria and Ricardo are some of the kindest, most genuine souls I have ever had the joy of meeting and working alongside. The work was always well explained, fair and enjoyable! I learnt a lot about permaculture, agro forestry, sustainable off grid living & how to use certain tools/materials. Our experience was absolutely incredible! We enjoyed every day and every second on the farm. We never met such kind people and we felt like to be part of that family. We had a main project together and also some little projects occasionally. Whenever there was something new for us, they explained us everything very well. We learned a lot about handyman, the nature, and eco farm living. We also had an amazing social time together. We would do that experience again and again! Thank you Ricardo & Maria for everything. We will miss you!

La experiencia en la comunidad es única. Ricardo nos ofreció la estadia en la caravana que hay en pleno la comunidad y rodeada de una paisaje idílico. 14 mil hectáreas situadas en en interior de Portugal que vale la pena experimientar, perdiendote por su recovecos que te hacen descubrir nuevos lugares. Su proyecto es muy interesante ya que quiere que formen parte de él una comunidad, por lo que necesita mucha ayuda en este comienzo. Entre sus actividades: plantar árboles, construcción de edificios con materiales sostenibles, reutilización de otros para nuevos enseres, etc. Muy recomendable :)

Honestamente esperaba encontrar un espacio de comunidad, con más gente, donde poder sociabilizar y conocer gente, practicar lenguas, etcétera. Solo me encontré trabajando con Ricardo durante las mañanas y tratando de disfrutar del río y del pueblo durante la tarde. Quiero decir, tal vez si uno va solo puede resultarle un poco aburrido, como me pasó a mí. Las tareas son exigentes, ojo con eso. Más allá de todo eso (que tiene que ver más con aquello que yo esperaba) Ricardo es una gran persona, super comprensible. Si te interesa la sustentabilidad y los eco proyectos, seguramente aprendas mucho.
