That was a superb experience for me ! The manager Viktor is so nice ; the location of the hostel is really cool ; I loved really much Gran Canaria ; and… must of all… the others volunteers I was with were great !!! Good mood, good energy. Of course, to have a really good experience here, you need to have the chance to be with good peoples… but this place definitely helps you to create good relations with the others. Was a little sad to leave. Thank you so much for this experience the hostel🥰

Actually I stayed at Columbus Rooftop Hostel since when I got there the hostel was temporarily closed. However I had a great time during my stay: I worked in the apartments team, the tasks were easy and I had a lot of free time to explore the island. The managers are nice and kind. I felt welcomed from the first day, everyone was super nice, I met a lot of wonderful people and had so much fun. I would definitely recommend this experience!

My experience at the hostel was amazing and I will never forget it. I met some incredible people and had so much fun, Viktor the manager is one of the kindest person and he always does his best to manage the Hostel as well as to help the volunteers. The hostel is located in a very nice neighborhood. Although there were some problems with the kitchen and other stuff that did not work properly, I can say that I had a great experience that I would recommend to anyone

My time in Las Palmas at the hostel was so memorable and I will always remember the amazing volunteers I met during my stay. I felt so welcome from the first day I got there and the work is pretty chill. Viktor the manager was very nice too and always made sure we were happy with the work and our hours.

1 absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! I got to meet some amazing people and the work was quite easy and manageable most of the time. The manager Viktor was always super helpful and did his best to make us feel comfortable and at home! A few unexpected events happened during my stay, but overall everything was solved quite fast! Absolutely recommended

This was my first volunteering experience and I loved it!! The work was chill since it was low season and we didn't have many guests. The manager Viktor is super nice and supportive, he always asked about our preferences towards the work shifts. The hostel is clean however a few things broke down during my stay (sink, showers, fridge) and we had to wait days or even weeks for the owners to do something about it. We were close with the volunteers from the other hostels so there was always somebody around to hang out with, and there were many opportunities to experience the island life!

This experience was absolutely amaziiing!! The hostel is super modern, clean, and welcoming! The tasks are easy and the manager Viktor is very flexible in terms of work shifts, he always asked us our preferences! I couldn't have dreamt of a better manager, he was so nice, understanding, funny and always there for us! If you're convincing enough you can even try to dance batchata in the kitchen with him! The volunteers were all amazing and it was incredible to spend time at the other hostels as well! I created such strong bonds and have now so many international friends, I recommend 100%!!

Volunteering in the hostel was my first experience, and I couldn't have asked for more. The manager, Viktor is the best, he is super kind and helpful. The shifts, the work we had to do was clearly communicated, and it was not too much, at all. We had plenty of time to explore both the city and the island as well. The hostel has a cozy vibe, but what made the experience even better were the other volunteers. You won't ever feel alone, because there are always activities organised amongst the volunteers. I really recommend volunteering here!

As it was my first volunteering experience, I had no idea what to expect but the work, people the place... everything was incredible. I did not work at the hostel to which I applied, I stayed and worked in Columbus but the host asked me in advance if I was OK with it. Columbus house truly feels like home. It is super easy to connect with other volunteers and guests through family dinners. You are not a part only of Columbus but also the hostel and Jungle family, which makes finding friends very easy. The work is not overwhelming and you have a lot of free time to travel. I recommend 100%.

It was a fantastic experience. The hostel is new and comfortable, and is close to shops, supermarkets and bars. 2 minutes from the hostel, there's the bus station, useful for moving to the beaches of Las Palmas, and to other places on the island. The host is the best, always available, kind and flexible with shifts. But what made all this magnificent were the other volunteers, with whom we shared this experience together, organizing dinners, evenings, outings and unforgettable moments!
