6 hours of work is tiring but manageable, however, the supervision is quite strict it's like working for a company. Patricia is a great person, but a bit reserved. Sometimes I feel like only received orders while working or not. Be extremely clean, if you leave even the slightest mess, you'll get scolded. 20% of my working hours were spent in the garden, and I was still charged 30 francs for "not doing a good job." Despite all this, it was still worth it because Switzerland is very expensive. But it's always good to remember that volunteering, it's not a worker-boss relationship

Unfortunately, my experience with Rogério was not positive. He showed very little motivation or initiative, and his work had to be constantly checked. There were repeated mistakes, and he seemed uninterested in whether the results were correct. In daily life, hygiene was a serious issue. The kitchen and bathroom were often left dirty, and I had to speak to him multiple times about basic cleanliness. I gave him the option to leave or either improve his behavior and contribute CHF 10/day

Está ha sido mi primera experiencia cómo voluntaria en Worldpackers. Fue una experiencia positiva. Me sentí bienvenida y no tuve problemas mientras estuve allí. Lo único que considero es que son bastantes horas al día, pero Patricia es una persona muy amable, flexible y si se tiene buena comunicación el horario se puede mirar que hacer. Se tiene un buen desayuno diario y la ubicación es muy buena para tener la oportunidad de conocer Zürich. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer locales y vivir la vida como uno de allá, lo cual era algo importante y que quería vivir en esta experiencia.

Me la he pasado muy bien, Patricia fue muy Amable y gran Compañera, su actitud siempre es muy alegre y te hace sentir agusto, hubo momentos en el proyecto que fueron mas complicados y requirireron de mas tiempo pero también asi mismo fue recompensado Agradezco mucho ya que fue mi primera experiencia y creo hemos hecho un buen trabajo

I had the pleasure to work at the home and Maha café and I'm impressed not only by the delicious food, but also by Patricia, who embodies everything admirable in a business owner. Her energy and dedication are truly inspirational and I could see her managing various tasks at the same time and inspired me to pursue my own dreams with the same commitment. I learned to decorate and paint the stand for the streetfood festival, cook, prepare the ingredients, assist customers in english and french, being a casheer during the festival and create marketing social networks content. Thank you! 😃

This was my very first experience alone with WorldPackers. I've really enjoyed my time there, even if the work to do, in order to help Patricia with her move to another house, was a bit hard for me, that I don't have a very muscular body haha, but I've learned how to to dismantle furniture :) After some days of work, I was feeling a bit tired, and when I asked Patricia if I could have done something lighter the following week, she has been really comprehensive and told me I could have helped her also with some online things. I've loved Zurich, and also Bern and Basel!

When i arrived to Patricia's home i felt compeletly comfortable instantly. She is very dedicated to her projects and very professional. If we ever had an argue we just talked about it and solved instantly, without any problem after. The work i was doing was made easy, cause we always talked about everything i got done fast. The hole experience was friendly and easygoing, and i had a very nice time :)

My arrival was easy managed to find Patricia's place with the detailed directions she shared with me. I would recommend Tapioca Swiss Market to volunteers willing to work hard and are into marketing and web designers. I was specially for this period to help her clean her apartment for rental - it's a pleasant place and quite you do your work and have time to explore the city.

Mi experiencia en Suiza en casa de Patricia fue genial! Coincidí los primeros días con otra voluntaria, Jessica, y fue genial conocerlas a las dos. Patri es una persona muy inspiradora y fue genial poderla ayudar con su proyecto de la casa Swiss Market. Una buena manera de aprender sobre redes sociales, marketing y emprendimiento en general. También espera que la puedas ayudar con el apartamento (limpieza etc). El apartamento está en una ciudad tranquila cerca de Zurich (a 20 minutos en tren). Estoy muy contenta y agradecida con la experiencia :)

Estoy muy feliz de haber tenido la oportunidad de conocer a Patricia y colaborar en su proyecto de la casa. Aprendí mucho sobre sobre la calidad humana gracias a ella y la perseverancia necesaria para cumplir objetivos soñados. Me sentí como en casa, contenida y acompañada y trabajando con lo que más gusta hacer, ilustración y diseño. Gracias Patricia 🤍 Definitivamente recomiendo esta experiencia.

My experience with Patricia and Tapioca Swiss Market was overall a really good one! The place is located only 15mins with train from the city centre, there was access to bikes and was offered tips and recommendations of the city! I had a comfortable stay, and Patricia was very friendly and caring with us, the volunteers. The project was intense, setting up the business' website, but Patricia was very open and flexible with the working hours, and communicative about things needed. Overall, a great place to learn a lot about startups, and explore Zurich!
