They have no idea what volunteering is about: they'll explore u and wont give a single f**k about your experience as a traveler or your dignity as a person Volunteers are the cleaning staff, expect a heavy work as if u were a paid employee. U'll be under fear&stress, more then once i felt disrespected Activities r an extra responsibility: u have to invest your own money and work extra hours the hostel is isolated so u cant explore around w/a car (no extra transfers for volunteers ofc) In return u get a filthy dorm+30€ worth of food that should feed 10ppl for 7days (0,43€ p/day p/p..wtf?

Thank you for your comment Bruna. We are sorry to hear you didn't appreciate your time here with us. Normally our volunteers have amazing experiences here, as you can read in the rest of reviews. The conditions and tasks to be done are very clear, and also confirmed in the previous video call we do with every volunteer. The location is also very easy see in our profile. We absolutely love being away from the city center but still only 10 minutes walk from the beach, it key to build that community feeling we have here. The last small thing is that the fruit and veg we buy for the volunteers is not mention in the exchange, we just buy it every week for you to have fresh food and support the local farmers

I had a good experience volunteering at the hostel. It was alot of work but it was fine together with the other volunteers. Facilities were good and great with free shuttels to the nearest town. Thanks to Cristina for being such a great manager and all other volunteers! :)

Going to the hostel was one of the best decisions I've made in my travels. The team, the place and the vibe with the guests was great. Thank you for everything, I'll be back!

I really recommend the voluntary experience in Treehouse Hostel. During my stay I had a chance to meet travelers from all around the world- both guests and volunteers. I liked the fact that Treehouse wasn't just an accommodation, but our home for a while. Everyone was friendly and welcoming to me. In the hostel I took part in many fun activities- stretching and yoga classes, barbecues, pool parties. The manager was helpful and understanding. Working hours were respected- after my shifts and during my days off I had plenty of time to explore the hostel with rented car and public transport

Great place, with nice people, the hostel is located a bit far away from other places but they offer a shuttle three times a day that brings you to the nearest cities! I really enjoyed my stay here.

I have been in the hostel for two months and in these two months I felt at home, it was an incredible experience, in a wonderful and paradisiacal place and above all with wonderful people!! So for me it was the perfect place to voluteer, make friends, know interesting people from all over the world, practice English and Spanish. The shifts are not at all heavy, and you have plenty of free time to enjoy the awsome island I highly recommend this hostel :)

I couldn't have wished for a better first volunteer or first solo travel experience. the hostel feels like home, so much that I extended my stay because I don't want to leave! The managers and owners are friendly, flexible, and so helpful. The other volunteers are amazing and the environment is perfect. Definitely recommend this place for a volunteering experience!

My Experience at the hostel was great, it was what I was looking for. I was supposed to stay a month, but I ended up staying more than three months. the hostel has a lot of facilities, swimming pool, rooftop, co-working space, bar, etc.. The structure is sorrounded by the desert and some fincas and you can really disconnect from the caos and noise of the city life. If you are looking for a place where to have the possibility to focus on your own projects and activities, learning languages, meet interesting people while visiting the island, the hostel is the perfect one.
