Help with English lessons in a free school near Siem Reap!

Surpassed all expectations. I couldn't have loved my time at the school and living with the family any more. The students are keen to learn and all have uncapped potential that can be seen during lesson times. I thoroughly enjoyed planning lessons too - extremely rewarding. In addition to this I made incredible relationships with the other teachers and have continued my travels with one of them! Such a beautiful family who are driven and entirely selfless and a joy to be around. You are at home in their home. The experience was the best part of my travel.

It has been the most enriching, joyful and incredible experience for me. It's hard to describe how grateful I am for this experience. I have never met more happy, enthusiastic & grateful children both inside and outside the classroom. I really learned so much from them. Getting to live with the most welcoming family & getting to spend time with other awesome volunteers from all over the world. Incredible! I will miss all the kids, the volunteers, the family, the amazing mangos, teaching & the best Khmer food!! Thank you for being the best host the school & family.

If you are thinking about trying volunteering while in Cambodia this is the perfect place. During our 2 week stay we had a amazing time with the school and his lovely family. Such a wholesome experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives! Can't recommend this place enough and if you are nearby I would definitely take time from your travels and go to the school!

The school has been the most incredible experience for me! Teaching children English at this free school has been so enriching and fulfilling! The hosts make you feel like part of the family and ard so generous with their time and resources. Teaching in the classroom is so much fun and the children truly bring so much joy to the experience. The living facilities and food are awesome and you truly feel like you experience the authentic culture of Cambodia. I could not recommend this experience more highly, if you are thinking about volunteering this is the place to do it!

I really recommend this school! Such an amazing host family and school of students! I was with 10 lovely volunteers. We did around 2 lessons each, totalling 2-3 hours a day. I found this perfect, as it was very hot. I taught the ABC level and the students were a pleasure to teach! Decent accommodation and seriously yummy food! Thank you very much to the school, Sai Vong and the rest of the family for this unforgettable experience! ❤️

This was my first stay with Worldpackers and I have absolutely loved it! I was at the floating village school living with the school's family. They were all super kind and always made us feel at home. Food was delicious, always rice with some meet, omelette and vegetables, and sometimes soup. You can choose your preferred lesson time and there's a lot of free time to play with children, visit the village or just chill (in front of the fan, of course). I would repeat ten times, but keep in mind that it's a quite rural experience. Thank you the school for letting me know your lovely people and village ❤️

The school and his family made me feel so welcome in their community from the very beginning. I highly recommend volunteering with PCEF school if you want to be immersed in the local culture and feel that you are making a real difference in the lives of many children. The kids are so friendly and happy to have you there. The accomodation is basic but comfortable enough.Saivon is the best cook, all the home cooked meals were amazing! The village is about an hour from Siem Reap, so on our weekends we were able explore on our days off. I can't wait to come back one day, thank you again for having me!

What an amazing first volunteering experience ! We felt welcomed and quickly at home 🫶🏻. I would 100% recommend this experience. The kids are so lovely and always willing to learn. I worked as a social media manager and first time practicing photos for a beautiful cause. So many memories !

The best experience of my life so far! the school's family is so kind and sweet, from their amazing cooking skills (always providing 3 delicious meals per day) to their joyful children to play with. The teaching activities were funny and flexible, ensuring that everyone could choose the level of English that they wanted to teach to children. Finally, the core of this experience was getting to know how's the life of a real local family in a the school village and this kind of knowledge is more meaningful than any other vacation or travel (stunning sunsets and scenic tuk tuk rides included).

Volunteering at PCEF school in Cambodia was fantastic! the school and his family, who run the place, were incredibly kind and welcoming. They treated us like family and made sure we felt at home and Saivon made delicious meals for us every day. Working with the kids at the school was amazing . They were kind, eager to learn, and always made our lessons fun. Plus, I made some great friends among the other volunteers. I highly recommend PCEF school to anyone looking to volunteer.
