Tuve una muy buena experiencia en the hostel. Max es una persona amable y atenta, con la que es facil hablar. Las tareas son fáciles. Como mejora, pondría menos horas de trabajo y mejores desayunos y cenas. Pero en general, muy buena experiencia para conocer Arequipa y gente local. Muchas gracias Max!

It's easy to tell that Maximo truly cares about the volunteers who come and stay at his hostel. He provides everything agreed upon in the profile, and the work is quite simple and doable. The Hostel is in a great location, very near lots of shops and not far at all from the main Plaza of Arequipa. For breakfast and dinner there is food in the kitchen that you can help yourself to, and for lunch Maximo goes out and brings back a new dish everyday. A great way to try the local foods, all the lunches I had were delicious!!

Max is one of the best hosts I've ever had in WorldPackers. He made great efforts to make me feel at home, really cared about introducing me to the local cuisine and ensured I enjoyed everything Arequipa had to offer. He's a great communicator, tasks are easy and expectations are always set and met. I can't recommend it enough ☺️

Se respetaron los horarios y las tareas son sencillas. El almuerzo y desayuno muy bien,mejoraría la cena. Max es buen anfitrión y siempre está disponible para sacar dudas y lo que necesites.

La experiencia fue buena! Fue recibida en un momento de mucha necesidad. Maxi fue muy amable, siempre intentando solucionar las situaciones de una manera divertida. Todos los dias teniamos un almuerzo muuy rico, pero creo que el desayuno y cena podria der un poco mejor. Las tareas son sensillas y el horario es lo acordado. En la estadia pude conocer el centro historico y hacer tours. La localización del hostel no estan buena y creo que falta un buen ambiente de socialización en el hostel, pero al final todo fue tranquilo. Recomendo este voluntariado!!

Estuve muy contenta durante el tiempo que duro mi voluntariado. El trabajo que me tocaba realizar me ayudó a organizar mi tiempo y aprovechar cada tiempo libre para seguir haciendo otras tareas. A pesar de ello, a veces se me hacía complicado coordinar mi horario de trabajo con el turismo que quería hacer por la ciudad. En general una experiencia muy buena y de aprendizaje.

I had a lovely time in Arequipa! I really enjoyed spending time with the other volunteers with me. I would definitely recommend having a solid foundation in Spanish, and it really was a good learning experience as well. Maximo is very accommodating and willing to help if you ask. I met so many great people!!

I enjoyed volunteering at the hostel! Max is a very kind and helpful host. During my stay I helped with the laundry and a little bit with the reception. Max showed me around in Arequipa to try delicious food and to visit some viewpoints. I definitely recommend volunteering if you want to practice your Spanish.

Muy agradecida con Max por mi estadía en el hostel 🫶 Las tareas no son complicadas, el lugar es tranquilo y queda cerca de varios atractivos turísticos. El anfitrión es muy amable, atento y te hace sentir cómoda. Espero volver en una próxima visita a esta hermosa ciudad 🤎
