My husband and I had a lovely time at the language studio the host! Oscar is a great host, he explained our tasks well and was very supportive. Talking to students was a lot of fun, and we learnt a lot about Korea (we talked to people 2-3 hours a day). Meeting other volunteers was great too! As for the drawbacks, the apartment can get crowded if all 7 people are in. Also, we didn't know our day off schedule until a couple of days in advance, so it wasn't always possible to plan day trips. These points didn't bother us too much, and we'd recommend this opportunity to other volunteers!

I stayed for about two and a half weeks and it was an amazing experience! The other volunteers made it an unforgettable experience. The only problem was the food that we got. There were only four ingredients which were not enough for three meals per day so you had to buy your own stuff as well or go out to restaurants. The apartment was located in a nice area and there was a lot to do. It's not too far from Seoul, Suwon or Incheon. The apartment is no luxury so you should not expect too much. Still I created great friendships and connections with local people and other volunteers!🥰

I stayed there for two weeks and I had a really good time. The work is absolutely doable and fun. You get to know different people and cultures. Oscar is very friendly and provides a nice accommodation. The only negative thing for me are the beds. They are broken and it's hard to get a good sleep

This was my first volunteer experience, and I had a great time! I loved meeting locals at the café, having interesting conversations, and making new friends. The apartment is conveniently close to the station, making it easy to get around. Oscar is a friendly host, and overall, it was a memorable experience!

The apartment location is close to the station so it's very convenient and Oscar is a friendly host. Thank you for a memorable experience! (P.S fix the beds)

This was my first time volunteering and it's the best decision l've ever made! I met amazing people, made new friends and got to connect with locals. The apartment where we stay is near the metro station, and Seoul is just and hour away. The only downside is the food, it's mostly ramen, eggs, and rice. But overall, it was a great experience !!

This is a great work the host! It's fun to live with the other volunteers and meet locals. The apartment is near the train station so it's easy to get to Seoul, although you might get tired of being on the train. On the plus side, the host is cheaper than Seoul and has some great food. You should know that the beds in the apartment are terribly broken and uncomfortable, otherwise it's a good place.

This was my first volunteering experience, and I stayed for almost two months. Oscar was very kind and always ready to help with any problem. During my time here, I met so many people and learned a lot about Korean culture and society. The working hours are very reasonable, and overall, I had a great experience. The apartment is comfortable as long as everyone maintains order together with the other volunteers. I'm really happy with my time here and would love to come back in the future!!!

I had an amazing time! the host allows you to connect with the people and learn about Korean culture straight from Korean people. I made so many friends there with both the other volunteers and the students, and I always felt very welcomed by both. Oscar is lovely and very understanding, and work doesn't really feel like work most of the time. the host is not as busy as Seoul is, but it's still close enough so that it's not super annoying to get there. For me, perfect experience!

My experience at the host was truly exceptional and would completely recommend it! In addition to teaching English to Koreans, I also collected new experiences and got into their culture and stories. I met some incredible people who I will remember forever. The schedule is perfectly balanced for those wanting to explore Seoul and its surrounding areas, and the hours are always respected. Oscar is a kind and welcoming host. Thank you for everything! I hope to return any other time!
