This was my first time volunteering abroad and it was everything I could have hoped for. The weeks I spent at the hostel were some of the best throughout the whole year. I already miss them. Kate and Aris are perfect hosts, they are welcoming, flexible and make sure that everyone has a great time. The other volunteers are just as lovely, everyone I have met was a fun person to be around. There was a strong sense of community, it is impossible to feel excluded. The amount of work is totally reasonable, you have plenty of time to do whatever you feel like. 100% recommend them. 💙

I had a fantastic time at this hostel. The owners are incredibly kind and make you feel at home from day one. The work is straightforward and everyone is very supportive, which makes everything so much easier. My stay went by way too quickly — I'd definitely recommend it!

The hostel is such a lovely place where I met amazing people from all over the world. I wish I could have stayed longer! the hostel is a beautiful city with so much to do and explore. The tasks are simple and you get plenty of free time. Kate, Aris, and Mari manage the place really well and always encourage volunteers to take the lead in activities with the guests. I highly recommend this experience! miss u guys 🫶🏻🫰🏻

Volunteering at the hostel in the hostel was an unforgettable experience! There were fun activities every day, which made it super easy to meet people and feel part of the community. The volunteers were incredibly welcoming and included everyone right away, creating such a friendly atmosphere. What made it even better were the hostel managers – super, super cool, approachable, and always supportive. I met amazing travelers from all over the world and felt at home from day one. Truly a unique and memorable experience that I'd recommend to anyone!

This trip was my first experience with Worldpackers and I can honestly say that I couldn't have picked better! Kate, Eris, Mari and all of the volunteers created an incredibly welcoming atmosphere where you just want to stay as long as possible- which is why I actually extended my stay. Hostel itself is one of the best ones I've stayed at, very social, easy to meet new people. The tasks are easy to follow, shifts are flexible and fair. It will still leave you with lots of time to do many activities and explore this part of UK. I'm going to miss it so much:)

The past seven weeks at the hostel have been some of the best of my life! It was my first volunteering experience, but I felt at home straight away and wish I could have stayed even longer. I would recommend the hostel to anyone looking for an everyday life in an idyllic city surrounded by nature. The hostel has a very welcoming liberal and social atmosphere and the shifts are fair + flexible! Aris, Kate and Mari are there for you at all times and the people I met here will always have a special place in my heart. 🫶
