He disfrutado mucho mi experiencia en el café. El lugar es precioso, los compañeros muy amables y el trabajo agradable. Sauro ha sido muy flexible y hemos podido ajustar sin problemas las necesidades del café a mis preferencias y habilidades. Totalmente recomendable!

Sauro es un anfitrión increíble, me sentí super cómoda en mi estadía en arequipa. Trabajar con el fue muy divertido y cómodo. Además me acompaño y mostró toda la maravilla gastronómica del lugar. Sabe muchísimo de lo que hace y le super apasion, fui realmente muy feliz

I stayed one week in Arequipa and overall I would say it was fun. The team is nice and the Café has a perfect location in the city center. The working hours were totally fair and I've learned a lot about working in gastronomy. But I would definitely recommend to speak at least Intermediate Spanish, during work and with the staff you have to talk in Spanish. Often we had a lot of costumers at the same time and I'm glad that I could helped the team :)

The café is a nice place and the people there are friendly! The accommodation is at a nearby hostel next to the Plaza de Armas which was a great location. In general, it is a good place to volunteer but I feel like the communication about the tasks/expectations could be better as I felt lost at first - however, it got better and I managed to figure things out. It was fun creating content for Instagram :)

I spent one and a half months with Sauro and the team of mi.the host. What I probably liked best was that the café is a meeting place for travellers and locals. The same applies to the hostel in which I stayed (it was rather quiet than a party hostel). Thanks to the great team at mi.the host, I very quickly felt at home in beautiful Arequipa. I started my experience with a very rustic knowledge of Spanish, but would recommend that future volunteers have an intermediate knowledge (btw, there were no professional spanish classes). Thanks for all the effort and the unforgettable experiences <3

Este voluntariado es una experiencia muy hermosa! Desde el lugar, las personas, las tareas. Todo! el anfitrión el cacao que se trabaja es de una calidad increíble. Sauro e Ybeth son dos personas hermosas que te hacen sentir muy bien desde el principio. Recomiendo mucho la experiencia, vayan a nutrir y dar lo mejor en este espacio tan hermoso que es el anfitrión!!

Estar junto con el equipo de the host fue mejor de lo que esperaba! Ambas terrazas que tienen son lindas. Se trabaja bien, se come bien. El hospedaje es cómodo, cerca a todo, en pleno centro a una cuadra de la Plaza de Armas. Si te gusta el café, vas a enamorarte. Es un plus si te gusta la cocina y sabes manejarte ahí para darles una mano. Gracias Sauro, Hanne y el resto del equipo! Espero volver pronto.

Llegue a mi kcacao en una fecha complicada ya que el dueño estaba de viaje y la chica encargada estaba enferma. Esto hizo que hubiera un par de problemas en cuanto a las formas en que nos trataba al anfitrión a la otra voluntaria. Hubo muchas complicaciones esa semana y la encargada se estresaba y no nos trató de la mejor forma. Por esto mi experiencia no fue la mejor claramente, me terminé quedando una sola semana. Fuera de esos momentos ella era muy piola y buena onda, pudimos compartir charlas y lindas tardes. Por esto creo que mi experiencia fue un caso aislado y no que pasa siempre.
