It was my first time volunteering, and it was a great experience! You can learn a lot of different things during the tasks and the community in Sammatz is really good,understanding and kind ✨. You can meet people from many countries of the world, so it is also a good opportunity to practice other languages , get to know other cultures and make really good friends. Also, the nearby forest and gardens are wonderful, and the food is delicious too haha 😊. I totally recommend this place to anyone eager to learn new things and things about themselves in a safe space. Thank you for everything 💕

It was a great experience to stay in Sammatz. The work is amazing you have a lot of different jobs that you can do, and they are really flexible, so if you don't like any job just let them know. I was able to practice German that was the main reason that I decide to do this volunteer. I met so many nice people, that I hope to have the opportunity to see them again. I never tough that I would like to stay in the country side, but this volunteer exceed my expectations and for that reason I decided to stay a little bit longer. Thanks to everyone that made my stay be unforgettable!!

There is something for everyone in Sammatz whether you'r interested to fully immerse yourself in a community close to nature or just looking for a break from the city. This place is absolutely beautiful and full of amazing people. No two days are the same as schedueles vary everyday, allowing you to learn about gardening,animal care, construction, cheese making.. The facilities are great, you have access to unlimited food plus lunch and cake in the afternoon. Rooms are shared but very comfy. I couldn't recommend this place more and hope to be back soon !!

Recomendado 100% definitivamente es un lugar al que deseas volver una y otra vez ya que aporta muchísimo aprendizaje en un ambiente social y agradable. Agradezco enormemente a la ecovila la oportunidad de tener mi primer voluntariado con ellos.

I wasn't expecting this experience to be as BIG as it was. Sammatz is a beeeautiful place and its surroundings too. It has a praiseworthy organization. They've the best structure! It's amazing how everything works so well there. They'll teach you whatever you feel eagle to learn. You'll have endless choices of what to work with. I'll miss my goaties and sheep forever. Thank you so much for the opportunity, guys! Thank you for being such kind, welcoming and understanding human beings ❤

Sammatz, es un maravilloso lugar, las veces que he estado allí he disfrutado mucho mi estadía, me han hecho sentir en casa y en familia, están siempre pendientes de ti, de cómo estás, de cómo te sientes, de que necesitas. Si quieres mejorar tu inglés, aprender Aleman están dispuestos a enseñarte, yo he hecho ambas, además los integrantes de la comunidad han aprendido bastante Español, algo super genial también es que son muy organizados con los horarios de trabajo🤗❤️.

Sammatz was amazing, better than I expected. I could know wonderfull people of a lot of countries and share with them at work and in the volunteers house. I was there just a few weeks, but everyone, mentors and volunteers were so kind that I really felt welcome and in community. Also you never need to buy food, because the volunteers house has a lot of and variety. Work at garden at the end of autumn can be a little hard, but the schedules always change so you can try different tasks. Thanks and hope to come back!
