It was my first time volunteering, and it exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so lovely and kind, always smiling and ready to help. Working with the animals and in the garden was the highlight of my experience—it was just amazing! I can't believe I was there for two months—time flew by. Sammatz is definitely a dream!

Sammatz it's truly a special place, the volunteers and the people living there are people with beautiful souls. I wish I could've stayed longer, but even my short stay was amazing. There's so much to do and so many people to talk you will never be bored!

I enjoyed my time at Sammatz, I really recommend it to other volunteers, they have excellent facilities and what is promised on the page is fulfilled, the people in charge of each area are committed and always kind to the volunteers. I would really stay in Sammatz for the rest of my life, but I have to go back, but I will return :).

It was my first volunteering and my first trip alone and it was also the best experience of my whole life. Everyone was very welcoming and everything was well organized. I learn a lot of things, discover a lot of cultures and people. Meet amazing people from different parts of the world, incredible people with uniques personnalities. I had a lot of amazing moments. the place is beautiful, so natural and i loved to walk around. With work, I learn a lot of things and new skills And I developed my English also a little my Spanish. I really hope I can come back one day !

Disfruté mucho mi estadía en Sammatz, me hubiese gustado quedarme más tiempo. La comida es buena, se respetan los horarios, te escuchan si algo te parece/o no te parece, las instalaciones son cómodas, hay instrumentos, dan clases de alemán, etc! Volvería a ir sin ningún problema, lo mejor fue poder conocer a los demás voluntarios que ahora llamo mis amigos y familia (:

I had an amazing time at Sammatz, It was my first christmas away from home and I could't imagine a better place, the celebration was lovely and warm and the food was great. I met amazing people, learned about working with animals and in the garden and though there was quite a lot of work I had a lot of fun doing it. It was so cool seeing what it's like living in a community and being a part of it for a short moment. I would love to come back in the summer to see how beatiful the nature around looks.

It was definitely one of the best experiences i've ever had in my life. For those who enjoy a farm environment, I highly recommend it. I will definitely come back many more times. I got to meet people from all over the world, improve my English and Spanish, and even learn a few words in German. The hosts were always willing to help with anything you needed, and I'm grateful to all of them, without exception, for their attention, patience, and all their help. I highly recommend this volunteering experience, but come prepared to work because there's plenty of work to do here.
