I loved my stay so much here that I had to extend it! The staff are so kind and friendly, and the work is extremely chill (I worked at the pool bar- so fun to meet and talk with people). In my time I got to explore the area and so much of what it has to offer, both on foot and with bikes. There's truly so much, and it's so beautiful here! I got to connect with the staff, other volunteers, and travelers, and felt invested in the local atmosphere. It's safe and friendly here- you're welcomed with open arms. I couldn't recommend this volunteer opportunity more! SO much love xx :)

Si buscas un lugar con buena vibra para divertirte y hacer amigos el hostel es tu lugar! ✨ Un voluntariado muy entretenido en un hermoso hostel en el centro de Puerto Viejo, rodeado de naturaleza, animales y cultura ☺️ Mi trabajo en recepción fue muy ameno, agradecimiento especial para María y Antonella que con mucha paciencia y amor me explicaron y enseñaron todo 🤍 Gracias por hacerme sentir parte de su gran familia durante este mes! 🌈 Seguramente volveré a visitarlos!😀

Volunteering at the hostel was an incredible experience. The hostel felt like home—spacious, clean, and full of positive energy. I loved the flexibility and trust from the manager, who always communicated clearly and cared for everyone. The vibe among volunteers was great, with plenty of adventures and shared moments. Puerto Viejo was easy to explore, especially with the bikes available. If you're looking for a place to connect, grow, and enjoy every moment, the hostel is the perfect choice.

Casa Waba es un hogar muy lejos de casa, me senti muy comoda con ellos y siempre me intentaba ayudar y proporcionar todo lo que necesitaba. Malauradamente, me tube que ir por casos familiares pero ojala volver pronto❤️‍🩹

We stayed at this hostel in Puerto Viejo for a month and had an amazing time. The accommodation was comfortable, though we did have to switch rooms halfway through to a larger one with more beds and more volunteers. I worked as a bartender by the pool and loved every shift. The atmosphere was vibrant, and I met so many incredible people. It's the perfect place for a long stay if you're looking for a fun, community vibe!

I volunteered at El Clan for a month and it was a wonderful experience! I met so many cool, like-minded people, and the tasks/hours were exactly as communicated. I made an amazing community while being there, and there is so much to do in and around Puerto Viejo. I highly recommend this experience :)

I volunteered as smm for 5 weeks at La Tribu, an amazing, modern, only-women hostel. Chilled vibe and healing sisterhood atmosphere (but when you want to party the hostel welcomes you). They host 2 volunteers at the time, in a private room with a/c. The owners (same of the hostel) are great people and all the women I worked with, both employees and volunteers, truly amazing. I felt constantly at home, made life-lasting friendships and left a piece of my heart here ♥️ I definitely suggest this experience to other worldpackers, you won't regret it!
