O hotel possui uma excelente estrutura, oferecendo a oportunidade de participar de aulas de yoga e meditação, além de usufruir da sauna. As horas de trabalho são bem respeitadas, e geralmente os dois dias de folga semanais são consecutivos, o que é ótimo para explorar outras regiões e viajar. Embora alguns turnos sejam mais intensos que outros, o sistema de rodízio entre os voluntários, como tem sido implementado, funciona bem. Normalmente, os turnos começam por volta das 6h e terminam às 12h30, com uma pausa de 30 minutos para o café da manhã, garantindo que temos o resto do dia livre.

I had a great time at the Kartoffel Hotel, the work was fun and easy and was very well explained. The other staff were all really lovely people and it was great meeting them. Overall it was a fantastic experience and one that I would really recommend to others.

Overall, I had a positive experience. The place is surrounded by nature, making it a great spot if you want to disconnect, slow down, and have some quiet time for yourself to think with clarity. That said, I think the experience could be improved with a bit more guidance and organization. For example, some things like writing down your working hours weren't clearly explained at first, so a short orientation or clearer communication would make things smoother for new volunteers.

This experience helped me a lot to get to know myself and improve my mental wellbeing. I recommend this kind of experience to everyone, especially in this place where I was able to meet wonderful people and Olaf, the owner. Olaf is a genuine and very welcoming person who immediately made me feel at home. I can't wait to return to this place.

I had a very nice experience volunteering here! The hotel and it's surroundings are very natural and peaceful, making it a good place to go to for some time away or to focus on yourself. If you come for a month they usually want you to try two different jobs, each for two weeks, which can be very helpful to learn about different aspects of the hotel! However, it is important to keep in mind that you may not do what you signed up for for the whole time and that you will have to communicate what works for you. Overall, I'm grateful for this experience and what it has taught me!

Minha experiência foi incrível, os quartos e camas são excelentes. A comida pra mim foi maravilhosa! O horário de trabalho é seguido certinho. Trabalhei nas 3 modalidades que existe no hotel, primeiro como Hausmaister, onde tu faz a manutenção do hotel, é um ótimo trabalho, pois tem dias que é bem tranquilo, sempre começa as 9am. Já o housekeeping não é difícil, mas tem que ser atento aos detalhes e rápido, pois tem bastante trabalho!! As vezes ganha gorjeta, e começa as 6 geralmente. Na cozinha a noite é fácil, mas tem que ser rápido! Começa às 15h, sempre ganha gorjeta. Wir lieben Kartoffel

I had a great time volunteering at Kartoffel Hotel. Olaf and the team were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the start. I got the chance to try a variety of tasks and was trusted with real responsibilities, which boosted my confidence. The environment is beautiful, the nature, fresh air, and beautiful scenery make it the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. The food was delicious and healthy, the working hours were always respected, and the overall energy of the place is so vibrant and positive. I highly recommend this experience!

Spent close to a month at the potato hotel doing kitchen work and landscaping. It was a very fun experience working with other international travelers while Olaf was very nice and welcoming. Be aware that depending on the time of year it could get slow and boring in some days, but take it as a good thing because its more time for yourself.

Sin duda he disfrutado muchísimo cada estancia in Kartoffel Hotel, el anfitrión el señor Olaf sin duda es una excelente persona, comprensible y amable. He mejorado mi alemán por lo que mi objetivo principal fue todo un éxito. La comida es realmente deliciosa y he conectado con la naturaleza. Si buscan una experiencia única sin duda esta es la mejor opción. Sin duda Volvería con los ojos cerrado. Vielen Dank Olaf 🤝🏻

My experience as a volunteer in Kartoffel-Hotel was wonderful. From day one, Olaf and his team made me feel like part of a family. The environment is natural, peaceful, and beautiful, and the facilities are comfortable and well-maintained. The transport connections make it easy to explore other areas. The work is simple but requires commitment. What I value most is the warmth of everyone: the team, the guests, and the volunteers. An authentic and enriching experience I recommend to anyone.
