The lodge Franko is great if you want to be out of the city for a while. The views of the city are amazing and you will be always surprised. The work is easy and you're going to have time to walk around the lodge. Take care of Dexter (dog) and Max (cat) is fun and they're really lovely. There is not WiFi and the bathroom it's outside so if you're looking for a hotel this is not the place.

Every day the lodge hikers come as guests to a club on Jude Franko Terebevic the lodge and we offer them something to drink. I would like to thank all of the guests who came, very kind and hospitable. Special thanks also to Gorona and Primoj. the lodge is a single house in the middle of the lodge, it sees the snowy city from the top and has a wonderful view. it had some difficulties, there was no place to take a bath for me and the toilet was outside so I had to return a little early.

Una buena y diferente experiencia en la montaña. Gorona y Primoz son amables y además cocinan rico. En el lugar hay que cuidar el agua ya que la misma se carga en botellones porque no hay agua corriente. Para bañarse hay que calentar agua en una olla y elegir el lugar de la montaña que más te guste ya que el refugio no cuenta con ducha. Si esperas encontrar wifi no es el lugar indicado, pero si te gustan los animales y la naturaleza, si. Las tareas van desde atender a la gente, lavar, limpiar hasta ayudar en la descarga de las compras.

Fué nuestro primer voluntariado y nos gustó mucho! Estuvimos 2 semanas,hicimos muy linda amistad con los otros voluntarios. Cuando llegamos a Sarajevo Goga y Primoz fueron a recogernos a la terminal y nos llevaron hasta la cabaña en la montaña. La cabaña tiene una vista hermosa, las tareas consisten sobre todo en recibir a las personas que suben la montaña y pasan a tomar algo. Para bajar a la ciudad caminando se calcula unas 2 horas aproximadamente. Es una experiencia muy interesante para vivir, hay paneles solares, el uso del agua es reducido, hay una letrina y la ducha es al aire libre.

I was lucky to make a friend like Primoz he is an amazing person, he taught me a lot about mountaineering and I am very grateful for that. The place is sensational, the work is simple and easy. I will never forget the moments I lived here. I made friends, had conversations and learnings that I never imagined. I will miss you all, you make my life better and i will never forget what i lived here. Thank you for everything !

Para nosotros fue una gran experiencia que nos sacó de la zona de confort pero nos dejó muchas enseñanzas y lo mejor de todo, una gran familia. Los anfitriones fueron personas muy amables y preocupadas por nuestro bienestar, respetaron todo lo pactado y nos hicieron sentir en casa. el alojamiento es un lugar auto sostenible y se mantiene con energía solar, agua que se debe ahorrar y baño tipo letrina de pozo seco, baño al aire libre con agua que debes calentar en botellas, por lo tanto no es un lugar para todo el mundo, pero creo que vale la pena la experiencia 100%

This was for sure one of the best experiences I could have, the place is beautiful, Primoz and Goga are excellent hosts! Perfect place to connect with nature, go hiking and get in touch with local people! If I could, I would stay more time, because I just love it! And for the future, definitely I will return! ❤️

Taking this experience was without a doubt one of the best decisions I have made. Talking about the work it's nice, mostly you have to attend the guest's, they are mostly locals so you can really connect with them. The atmosphere in the cabin is great, calm, respectful and you have the opportunity to connect with yourself. Primoz Is good person and really take care about the volunteers Being in this cabin marked me and taught me a lot, I will always carry it with me and I hope to be able to return to repeat this experience. I highly recommend it, if you are considering. Take it! ;)

The primoz the lodge is on a the lodge at more than 1400 mmsl, you have a privileged view of the city of sarajevo and completely disconnected from the world (which I loved). the work is simple and in general the working hours are respected. Mountaineers come every day to have a coffee or a juice, so you can connect very well with the local people. goga is hospitable, loving and very friendly. both are very interesting people with whom you can talk. Regarding the negative things I can say that if you are a vegetarian it is better that you look for another option because you will not feel welcome.
