A experiência

Seeking a responsible couple (Dec 6–Jan 6) to care for our farm while I travel.
From December 6th to 16th, you’ll receive full training covering every detail of the daily routines and responsibilities.
We have dogs, cats, and chickens 🐾. Enjoy fresh eggs and tropical fruits for breakfast, and visit neighbours for more seasonal fruits.
Open to original, creative proposals 🌿
You need to be bilingual in Spanish and English at least.

Our farm takes care of the biodiversity and designs a new forest inside the mountains of the Central Pacific Coast in Costa Rica. We are creating a sustainable living space by using permaculture techniques, protecting the forest that surrounds us and helping nature to regenerate itself while using only renewable energy:).
We are building and helping nature to regenerate the forest while planting trees. Our goal is to have a big forest soon! We want to be a non-profit organisation (NPO) working for the environment.
Our project is about an off-grid ecological farm at the very beginning of its construction. We have basic living conditions as we are looking for a sustainable space while planting trees from the zone, on land previously used for livestock, now we are doing everything possible to help nature, building a new habitat. We are minimalist but with a unique setup full of details.

Atividades & Turnos

We’re looking for two Eco Admin Volunteers to help with the day-to-day organisation of our project — a mix of light administrative tasks, helping with the farm, and caring for our friendly pets (3 beagles, two cats and 10 chickens). You’ll help keep our small community running efficiently while enjoying life in a peaceful, nature-rich environment.

🌿What You’ll Do
-Follow the training sessions (dec 06th-dec 16th) where you´ll receive all the guidance and information you could need :)
-Coordinate with my father and mom on any emergent or maintenance tasks that may arise. They will help you with any problem you could face. Be advised, they only speak Spanish and are super-friendly old Costa Ricans.
-Help with basic admin tasks like organising the weekly plan, checking messages, and updating the situation on the farm through videos and photos.
-Care for our lovely pets (feeding, cuddles, walks, and making sure they’re happy and safe)
-Enjoy your weekends free to explore, rest, or simply enjoy nature 🌄

🌻 What You’ll Gain
-First-hand experience in eco-project administration in a rural and isolated solar farm in Costa Rica.
-A month living sustainably on a solar-powered farm. You´ll have a beautiful private cabin (The Office) and view (Gulf of Nicoya, CR Central Pacific).
-Learning about off-grid systems, permaculture, animals, plants and local wisdom.
-Be introduced to all our local friends to live as a local
-Weekends are free to relax or explore nearby natural spots ;)
-The chance to contribute to a real regenerative local community

Regras

Volunteers are aware of his/her responsibility when using any of the services like Recycled Water, Solar Electricity, and Satellite Internet. We are an autonomous setup where we collect/create/link to satellites for our services.
For logistical reasons, we are including basic raw food in this offering (Rice, beans, local coffee, oils, bananas, spices, oats, salt, sugar). You are in charge of cooking with your own special touch and bringing your own flavours to life :). We also have seasonal tropical fruits/veg (coconuts, bananas, sugar cane, guavas, mangoes, coffee and/or avocados) available to volunteers on the farm.
You´ll have a full kitchen with a wood-burning stove and an area to prepare your meals, along with an open deck for yoga, meditation, or just enjoying the beautiful view.
