Daro is an amazing person. i got sick for several days when i first arrived and he check on me at least once a day, always asked how i was doing and got me meds at the store. i connected a lot with the animals and nature in this place and spent a very memorable time there. the permanent workers + daro are all so kind and cool and i'm so happy to have met them. i would highly recommend this place, but make sure to practice some spanish (if u dont) beforehand so you can really connect with other volunteers. i'm excited to come back and see how the place has grown

Daro is a truly wonderful host. He is considerate, capable, and a pleasure to be around. the lodge is a beautiful place to stay, that gives you an authentic insight into life in the Spanish countryside. The work is fulfilling and meaningful, everything you do gives you a sense of being a part of the place and that you are truly helping to better the lives of yourself, the hosts, and the other volunteers. The other staff that live there are pleasant and personable, and any one of them is willing to help if you are in need. I highly recommend this location,and plan to return.

I had an amazing time at the lodge! The tasks weren't difficult, everything was explained and you never work alone. And it's a beautiful place with beautiful animals. We had a lot of free time, we could also travel to nearby cities if we wanted to :) I miss everyone already

Cómo primera voluntariado fue excelente! Conocí a gente increíble de la que aprendí muchísimo, trabajando en equipo y compartiendo buenos momentos!😊 Alvaro como anfitrión es excelente y Rafa como parte del equipo tambien una gran persona y amigo que me dejó está experiencia!🙌

La experiencia en la granja fue genial! Da ganas de quedarse más tiempo porque te sentís como en casa. Las instalaciones son muy buenas, y estás rodeado de naturaleza y paisajes muy bonitos. Las tareas son variadas y fáciles de realizar. Espero volver! 😀

This was my first worldpackers experience, and I really enjoyed my time at the lodge. I made some really great friends while I was there. There wasn't as much work as I expected, and the work was very easy and straightforward. The only challenge was coordinating travel on my days off. Due to the location of the camp, there were no public transportation options to get around. I had to rely on the host and employees to get me to and from the bus stop or the meeting place for a BlaBlaCar driver. If you're looking for a more secluded location, then the lodge is perfect.

This was my first WP experience! I stayed at the lodge with my boyfriend for 2 weeks. My tasks were sweeping the patio, helping in the kitchen, setting the tables and serving food and sometimes helping doing workshops with the children. I also had to do some maintenence work, which concluded in painting rooms. I was very lucky to be there with my boyfriend and 3 other volunteers, they made the experience much better :) Shoutout to the volunteer, who came with her car. Thanks to her, we had so much more possibilities for our free days. Go by car and bring a friend/ bf if u can!

Fue una mezcla de emociones personalmente, ya que todo fue muy rápido los primeros días que llegué. Creo que al jefe le faltan habilidades comunicativas y sociales, porque cuando alguien nuevo llega , se le debe presentar el lugar y al equipo como corresponde, no que uno vaya descubriendo solo, se que nada fue con mala intención y yo siempre me adapto rápido, pero la comunicación efectiva y la sociabilizacion en un voluntariado es importantisima. Agradezco al equipo a Paqui, los Rafas, Mario, Carmen por acogerme bien, por presentarse cuando no conocía a nadie y por dar buena onda y confianza.

Daro was a good host. You can tell he cares about his business. He helped us organize excursions to far away cities on the weekends . We definitely had miscommunication and it was frustrating at times.

Having to evaluate the experience here I have to admit that although the location is a beautiful place for guests and for nature lovers, the same cannot be said for the experience as a worldpackers travelers that for all this (inclusion, sociality, health of meals, water and services, behavior, personal privacy) left me very puzzled because reading the information on the proposal and the initial video call I certainly did not expect such an unprofessional experience, referring to this, I would consider changing the title first.
