I definitely recommend the experience in the hostel, the staff are warm and patient, and the volunteers are friendly and kind. I will not forget the memories of this.

My time the hostel has been the best!!! I have volunteered at many hostels but this place has been sooo special. Steve is a great host, the work is always fair, and days off are flexible so you can visit other towns during your stay. The staff are so fun and friendly, and I have genuinely enjoyed the volunteer work I have done. I don't think any amount of time will be enough here <3

What a wonderful experience, I was very well received by the whole staff, the people who frequent the bar are very open to talk, Steve is very flexible with dates and super open to new ideas. It was my first volunteer and I'm sure I chose one of the best places for it!

In the hostel I felt that only your personality, your character and your energy define how much you will be liked and how unique this experience will be for you. Everyone just wants to enjoy the moment and be present. Here you are really a volunteer and they encourage you to have fun. But, like all shared work, volunteering must be taken seriously. Otherwise someone will have to pick your slack! But you'll always have time for the relationship-building process - even while you're at work. You make friends with staffs, customers and other travellers. Definitily, volunteer here!

This hostels location is really perfect in Bruges, allowing you to easily explore the city when you're not working. Additionally, volunteering in Bruges will provide you with the opportunity to explore nearby cities like Brussels and Ghent, and even take weekend trips internationally to places like Amsterdam! the hostel has a wonderful community feel to it and really did start to feel like home. The living accommodations were not great for volunteers though.

I had a great time at the hostel! The work shifts are as agreed upon and the people were wonderful :) As far as improvements go, I do think that the staff could communicate more clearly with the volunteers, but if you're willing to ask questions and be proactive + like to party once in a while, this will be the perfect place for you!

Fue mi primer voluntariado con ellos y la verdad es que respetan el trabajo y los horarios establecidos, son flexibles con respecto a los días libres y si necesitas algo te apoyan. El cuarto de voluntariados es lo único malo de esta experiencia pero a la larga te acostumbras, si tienes la oportunidad de venir no lo dudes, brujas es hermoso y puedes conocer ciudades cercanas de Bélgica y también países cercanos. Gran experiencia 🇧🇪❤️

Amazing experience in bruges ! always something going on the hostel bar, great staff and volunteer team ! Schedule is always respected and there's plenty of time to take day trips or visit Bruges !!

The work was very adaptable, at least for me in the morning's shift, I was able to enjoy it without stressing at all. I really liked the flexibility that Steve offers us who practically organizes the schedule depending on what we have in mind (if we want to travel somewhere since the hostel has discounts in other places). The only thing to keep in mind is that the volunteer room is mostly full, so there are 14 people in the same room which is big tho, but theres a lot of coexistence and not too much privacy. If you are a nightlife person, maybe it's the right place. Thanks so much to everyone!

There is no place like the hostel. I find it impossible to imagine what amount of time here would be enough, for I treasured every minute of it and surely long for more. To say that both the soul of the place and the vibe of the legends working there are something common to find is a major understatement. There is just no place like it... Steve & staff – this has been a lifetime experience. Thanks for absolutely everything.
