A experiência em si foi ótima, a equipe SUPER me acolheu CLÉO E FELICIA, fizeram a diferença no meu voluntariado, fora os amigos que fiz para vida toda. Trabalho de limpeza em si é tranquilo, é mais pesado a parte de arrumação, mas nada impossível. Quase tudo ocorreu conforme o planejado, me desapontei um pouco quanto a lavanderia e cozinha não estarem completas, mas demos o nosso jeitinho...

My stay at the hostel was wonderful, full of great encounters, the team integrated me straight away and helped me a lot to improve my Portuguese. The work there is not very complicated and allows you to meet and talk with people ! Life there is very pleasant. There is a dormitory for volunteers, toilets, shower, changing room and kitchen everything is clean and modern. And the hostel is as close as possible to the ocean, it is literally in front. It is very pleasant to be able to surf there every day ! In short, I recommend this experience to everyone !

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue súper enriquecedora. Mis tareas como voluntaria consistieron en organizar actividades y trilhas para los huéspedes y conectar con ellos. Se respeto todo lo hablado previamente. Recreio es un lugar increíble para poder conectar con la cultura local de Brasil, surfear y tener una vida cerca del mar. Lo que más voy a extrañar es a todo el equipo y las personas que hacen del hostel un hogar. GRACIASSS!!!!!!

My favorite volunteering experience ever! I had such a great time at the hostel! I loved the overall vibe of the hostel. The team is super nice and was very welcoming. The tasks were super easy and I was very flexible with the activities I had to organize. The working hours were also less than stated on Worldpackers. I'd love to come back to Recreio when going back to Rio. I already miss it!

Volunteering at the hostel has truly been one of the best travel experiences i've ever had. I ended up extending and staying for 2 months. I instantly felt so welcomed by the whole team as well as the town of Recreio itself! The vibes here are unmatched, surf, nature, beaches, hikes, whilst still having Rio city close by! The activities planner role was so fun and rewarding. The hours are flexible and allow you a lot of free time. I was able to surf almost every day, the perks of volunteering here are very good and I would come back to the hostel again without hesitation!

Esta experiencia ha sido increíble, pasé el mejor mes de mi vida. El barrio donde se ubica se siente como un pueblito dentro de Rio de Janeiro, es muy fácil conocer a gente y integrarse con los locales, lo único “malo” es que está un poco alejado con el centro de Rio y se tarda una hora en ir, pero merece la pena. Las playas son espectaculares y hay una vibe de surf muy linda. Las personas que conocí son increíbles, muy abiertas y acogedoras. Adoré estar en recepción ya que conoces a mucha gente, la única pega es que el turno de noche se hacía un poco pesado si te agarraba sueño.
