I had a great time volunteering at FreeHostels. The best part is the environment, from the beginning I was very well welcomed and working with Ali, Luiza, Paolo and all crew made the day lighter. It's a great place to meet travelers, socialize and explore the hostel. The tasks were simple, the hostel and the volunteers apartment is well located, close to the metro, the bus and the Coliseo!! Volunteering at the hostel was an unforgettable experience. The staff were very welcoming and supportive which made me feel right at home. The tasks were clearly outlined and help was always offered when needed. A standout perk was having a dedicated apartment for the volunteers, a rare luxury compared to the typical hostel accommodation. A special thank you to Ali and Paolo for this incredible opportunity. Tuve el agrado de realizar mi primer voluntariado de Worldpackers junto al hostel y la experiencia fue grandiosa! Las horas y tareas de trabajo fueron según lo que acordamos previamente, también nos manejamos con un cronograma para organizar los días libres y así poder disfrutar del hostel. Todos en el equipo me integraron e hicieron sentir muy cómoda, el ambiente laboral es muy bueno y relajado. También tuve la oportunidad de sociabilizar con viajeros de todo el mundo :) Sin duda recomiendo esta experiencia!!

My time at "the hostel" was fantastic. Nice and fun colleagues and easy work to learn. Nice apartment to live in with the other volunteers. the hostel was a fantastic city to spend a long time in, there is always something new to see. I recommend working at the hostel!!!

I spent 3 months in the hostel, and it wasn't even enough. The tasks were manageable, and it was easy to connect with other travelers. Rome is an incredible city that you can never get bored of! the staff was one of the best part. From the very beginning, they made me feel welcome and never alone. It was my first volunteering experience, and I had no idea what to expect. They patiently taught me everything I needed to know. Paolo, Ali, Pelin, Andres, Vidal, Luiza, and Lucas, they are so warm, helpful, and fun. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone considering volunteering.

My experience was very enjoyable. Everyone was super welcoming. The work is very easygoing and it's a great opportunity to meet new people. The apartment gives you more privacy to enjoy the city, and the location is great for exploring other places in Italy.

The hostel crew was like a family to me in these months since day 1. I have no words to explain how nice and caring they all are. Paolo, Luiza, Pelin, Ali.. all of them! I improved my italian, made new friends, learnt about other cultures and had a lot of fun. This is the perfect place to volunteer if you want to explore the hostel <3 the tasks are very relax, the appartamento is close to the hostel which is also walking distance to almost everything. Veramente indimenticabile; vi porterò sempre nel mio cuore, grazie per tutto.

It couldn't have been a better experience. I'm already sad to leave. Paolo is an excellent host, very fun, and does everything to make sure you feel comfortable. The rest of the team is also amazing, treating me like part of the family and making me feel at home. The hostel's location is also excellent; you can walk a bit and get to everything. I was able to improve my English and Spanish, and even learn a bit of Italian. It was an unforgettable experience that I will always carry in my heart. Grazie mille the hostel!

Mi experiencia en the hostel fue una de las mejores. Paolo es un gran anfitrión, siempre atento a los voluntarios. Las tareas son fáciles, todo está cerca del albergue y vives en un apartamento en la esquina para más privacidad. I loved my time at the hostel, everybody is so nice and caring , all the task are really relaxed, the hours maybe are a little long but The time goes pretty fast, i hope i can come back at some point, Ali, Juliana, Luisa and paolo ill miss u all 💓
