Me encantó ser parte del voluntariado de Hostel Kabeh. Llevaré conmigo siempre la amistad de todo el equipo. He aprendido mucho, me he llenado de valores y agradezco la oportunidad que me habéis dado! Fui parte del equipo de bartenders, y todo estuvo genial. Los turnos de trabajo fueron agradables y divertidos. Os quiero a todos! ❤️

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I have to say: fantastic! I didn't think I would find so many volunteers and at the same time I didn't think I would bond so much with everyone, a second family for a month! The managers Alo, Lù and Dani are always available and are the heart of the team. The tasks are easy and scheduled weekly so one can organize one's free time! Recommended if you love partying and want to meet people from all over the world🥳✨

This was my first Worldpackers. Overall it was amazing I met so many people and made so many friendships. However the work is not the best, I worked reception, your hours and schedules will be all over the place, making it hard to explore and travel while not being exhausted. the work itself was not terrible however there is a lack of communication of what needs to be done “the right way” The housing is not ideal. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. Bathrooms are dirty, and laundry is not the best setup as well. Overall amazing atmosphere, Communication and housing can be improved.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié ma première expérience au sein de l'hostel. L'accueil a été très chaleureux, les horaires sont respectés et les tâches demandés également. L'accès gratuits et libre a certaines nourriture est un vrai plus. Les gérants et les managers sont très à l'écoute et attentifs à nos demandes et réactifs si on a des problèmes particulier. En revanche qui concerne l'hébergement les lits ne sont pas du tout confortable et les conditions de propreté (moisissure, saleté, état de la salle de bain) sont très limités. Dans l'ensemble j'ai passé une très bonne expérience. Encore merci !

The experience itself was ok, but only because of the other volunteers. The job was never a pleasure to do, the bosses lack of communication was terrible, they was “communicating” but just to tell you “WORK!” with no clear instructions and in a really rude way. The dorms are terrible, there are 2, respectively with 6 and 12 beds, which are really uncomfortable (with a hole in the middle of the mattress) and it was not just mine, all of theme where like this. The bathrooms where always in bad conditions, hot water was a dream and there are no places where you can study or do your business.

Bajo mi experiencia tengo varios aspectos buenos y otros malos: Empezando por lo positivo: el ambiente es bastante bueno, es como una gran familia,cada semana se hace una reunion para comentar la semana, problemas..., tienes comida siempre, esta ubicado en buena zona y las tareas no son complicadas. Lo negativo es que siento que las habitaciones de voluntarios parecen la selva, los colchones son muy malos, en ciertos alimentos aparecen hormigas y ya no puedes comerlos...

Lo mejor del lugar fue tener la oportunidad de conocer nuevas personas, el area del bar es muy acogedora para jugar juegos de mesa, tomar, platicar y hasta meterse a la alberca. Depende de la temporada hay más o menos gente, y mientras estuve yo tuvo un poco de todo. Cocinar como equipo ayuda mucho y hay bastante tiempo libre para planear salidas e ir a la playa. Si tienes algo que decir, Sam te va a escuchar y tratará de encontrar una solución, es una persona muy abierta (:

I volunteered here through Worldpackers and overall had a really good experience. I helped with entertainment—taking guests to the beach, bars, and hosting theme nights—which was a fun way to connect with people from all over. On cleaning days, the chores were fair and simple, and the schedule left me time to explore and enjoy the area. The hostel has a social vibe, and I met some great people during my stay. There's always room for small improvements, but if you're looking for a place where you can contribute, make friends, and have fun, this is a solid choice.

Cancún tiene una vibra siempre de playa y de pasarlo bien, el hostel tiene buena ubicación y gente muy buena onda, como recomendaciones diría que tienen que tener en claro que hay siempre fiesta con ánimo de pasarlo bien y tendrás que compartir con diferentes culturas que en ocasiones son diferentes a las propias.

It was a complete disappointment, we left the same night we arrived. The vibe of the place was not matching at all to the one we expected and from what is shown in the pictures, which seem to be outdated. The team space is a messy and disgusting dorm with 14 beds, no space for personal belongings, one bathroom and no privacy at all, in any part of the whole hostel. The “kitchen” was a storage room with a dirty countertop and a fridge (aprox 20 p) so is absolutely not decent for cooking. Definitely Not worth it working for them for what you get, how dare they to offer this.
