This was my first Worldpackers volunteer experience and I appreciate every single minute of it. The staff was amazing and they made me feel welcome since day 1. The atmosphere between hosts, fellow volunteers and guests was amazing and I already miss it a lot. The tasks are totally fair and they respected the working schedule agreed upon, which is very convenient so you can organize your trip and travel around Portugal! Thank you so much, the hostel and the amazing people I met will always be dear to my heart!

The hostel became like a second home to me ,not only the volunteers but also the staff,receptionists,cleaners,barkeepers and back office people were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The work isn't very hard and once you get into the rythm it's easy and even fun to do. Magda,who is responsible for the volunteers, has a heart of gold and goes out of her way to make people feel at ease and always does her utter best to adapt the schedule to what people like and what people ask for. The hostel itself is such a beautiful space aswell with the indoor garden ,always new people to meet.

I had a really great time at Sunset the hostel! The team and the volunteers are really nice, fun, open, ready to help and make everyone confortable, to have the best experience that you can have. I am extremely grateful to have spent this month here! Thank you for everything !

Muy buena experiencia! Tanto el lugar como la gente, las horas se respetan y pueden ser flexibles, las tareas varían entre bar-desayuno y camas/recepción una vez por semana así que todos hacen todo, sumado a eso está hiper céntrico. Super recomendado!

This experience was perfect! I made a lot of friends and left with another awesome experience volunteering :) My hours were always respected and I wasn't asked to work more hours than it was agreed to. Keep in mind that sometimes they ask for 8 hours shifts but you get more days off, I actually liked that, it depends on you :) Staff was always nice to me!

I spent a month there and I really had a great experience! The hostel is a good place to stay, the staff is really cool and you have the opportunity to meet other travelers! I had so much fun and met great people there. The tasks are easy and you have planta of time to explore the city and have fun! The only thing I would say they can improve is the breakfast.

This was my first volunteering experience and it was truly amazing! Working at the hostel was cool, I got to meet so many awesome people. ❤️ Workload was fair and working hours were respected. Most of the staff were super nice and welcoming.

I had a great experience with the hostel. The location of both hostels is amazing, you have everything near you and the people are very welcoming and want you to have a good time. The working hours are fair and one can always talk openly if there is a problem. I can recommend having a volunteering experience here!
