I had an amazing experience at the hostel, all volunteers are like family and I felt very much at home, it was my first volunteer experience and could not have been better. I worked at the Bar where I could meet people from all over the world and practice my English and learn Spanish. Taganga is very welcoming and has beautiful beaches near the hostel. Mona is an amazing and inspiring woman, thank you for the opportunity!

The hostel is a hostel super good vibes, close to the beach and many mini markets. The staff is very nice and once you get to know everybody you will have a great time! I was a bartender, that's what I do in Brazil as well and it was very easy. You work with the view of the greatest sunset in Colombia. Animal lovers, 3 dogs and couple of cats(guess 3). Negative points: they don't have breakfast at the hostel and the volunteer's room is suuuuuper messy. But you will survive.

Simplemente increíble, me siento como en familia y en realidad va a ser muy difícil dejar este lugar, pase mil momentos lindos junto con el staff y los huéspedes y aprendí cada día algo nuevo. No tengo palabras para expresar mi agradecimiento por haberme dado la oportunidad de tener esta experiencia tan linda. Espero verlos pronto de nuevo. Los quiero!!!

La gente del hostel realmente amable, fueron miy amigables. No pude conocer a Mona porque no estaba y me tuve que ir antes ya que taganga es demasido inseguro, tuve una muy mala experiencia.

So hard to gather all my experience in a review, so many good times! To make long story short: Voluteering at the hostel was one of the best situations I've ever put myself into. The Host, Mona is the friendliest and funniest person you can run into here, and she's also very straightforward when it comes to work so for me was perfect to feel comfortable and speak up your mind with her; The staff really becomes part of your family, they actually care about you when you get to know them all, the place has such special vibe but you would have to be there to know what I'm talking about. Cheers!

Volunteering in the hostel was one of the best experiencies of my life. Santa Marta is a very good city and Taganga a wonderful village to live, party and dive. And the hostel?! Simply the most amazing hostel to stay and work. The house is pretty beautiful and confortable, but what make the real diference are the people. Since the first day I've felt myself very welcome and part of the team. Mona is a very friendly, happy (she really love parties ;) and outgoing "boss" and probably will be your best friend there too. I really hope to come back soon. Thanks all. Miss you!!!
