The experience at the hostel was my first volunteer experience and it was the best decision to come here !! I was welcomed wholeheartedly by everyone and introduced with patience and kindness to the tasks. Rafa and James are awesome and it was more like a “friends basis” than a “work basis”. The work shifts were more than manageable and very relaxed. If there were any doubts or if I needed any kind of help everyone was there immediately to help me. I made awesome friends there and will definitely come back sometime to visit ! I can recommend to everyone to come here <3

UNA GRAN FAMILIA!! Este es un excelente Hostel muy bien situado cerca a Largo da Ordem, de un centro comercial y la vida nocturna de la ciudad. Desde que llegué tuve una cálida bienvenida el equipo es excelente, muy amables, serviciales y dispuestos a colaborar en todo, mis dias en el hostel fueron maravillosos hize amigos muy cercanos que serán para toda la vida y ni que decir de la experiencia de convivir con huespedes de diferentes países aprendi muchisimo, el hostel tiene una energia muy buena que se siente en casa rincon de la casa.

I had a great time at the hostel. I was a little bit nervous because this was my first experience as a volunteer, but the staff and the hostess (Rafa) did everything to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I only stayed for 5 days, so the tasks were kind of easy, nothing too complicated (cleaning, check in and out, guard the hostel and make the guests feel welcomed). If you're thinking to volunteer there I totally recommend you to do it!

That was, definitely, one of the best experiences I have ever had. I knew that getting out of my comfort zone would be hard, but staying at the hostel made that so natural and easy that made me think "Why not staying here for, like, some years?" All the people I met, all the experiences that I had made me a better person. At the first week, all the work that I had to do were so easy and quick that made me feel like home. And Rafaella is such an amazing, incredible and lovely person. I would recommend the hostel to everyone I know. I will come back, as a worldpacker or a guest s2
