I loved my stay here! I was very excited to volunteer at Kjaereng Gard and take care of the wide variety of animals they keep there. Living in close contact with horses, pigs, donkeys, goats, sheep, llamas and alpacas (all extremely adorable) was truly special for me, as I felt responsible for their well-being and did everything I could to ensure they had a good life. The landscapes and views of northern Norway are breathtaking, and there are lots of interesting things to do in the city, which is easily accessible by taking a bus from a station near the farm. You should come!

I loved my time here in Nina's and Bjorn's farm ! The work is demanding but totally manageable after a few days. I you want to be in touch with animals, people from all over EU and great outdoors this is the place to be. I'm grateful to had this possibility to explore the norwegian moutains and countryside, wich start right after you step out of the farm :) Bjorn's food is another reason to come here, i won't forget it anytime soon.

Volunteering at the Mini Zoo was one of the best experiences I've had, there's a lot of animals and yes a lot of work which after a while you'll get used to it and it won't feel as much. With time I believe anyone will love all (or most) of the animals and see that each one has their own personality. Bjørn cooking was always amazing, and Nina always asked if everything was good at the beginning and tries to help with everything! The bus station is near so between shifts u can pretty much go to the city or use the bike! The other volunteers were also really good people whom I glad I met! Takk!

Volunteering in Norway was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, Nina and Bjørn welcomed me with open arms. Adjusting to the work was challenging at first, but their guidance made all the difference. The animals I cared for were lovely and kind.Bjørn's home-cooked meals were not only delicious but brought such comfort, something I looked forward to each evening. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and a charming nearby city, I felt deeply connected to Norway's beauty. Nina, Bjørn and the other volunteers made this time unforgettable, thank you!

I had a great time at the farm! It's a beautiful place with lots of different animals and in my free time I got to explore the farm and the surrounding area. It's a lot of work though, and working outside in the cold weather can be quite exhausting. But I made very good friends with the other volunteers and working together was so much fun! Also, Nina and Bjorn always care about you. Thank you so much for this nice experience :)

My stay was absolutely wonderful. Nina and Bjørn are very welcoming and really made me feel at home. All the animals are so precious and wonderful to be around. The work is physical but I really enjoyed it. So if this is something for you I highly recommend this place. On your days of you have lots of time to explore the farm and the area and go for amazing hikes. Also it's easy to go to the farm by bus and the bus station is very close which is a big plus. I had an amazing time, thank you so so much 😊

I had three amazing months there ! Nina and Bjørn are both very adorable and welcoming people who'll do all they can to make you feel at home. If you want farm work, meaning working outside in the pure air of northern fjords with a lot of animals then this is the place. In the evening, Bjørn's cooking is always good and fills both your belly and heart.
