Our experience at the home is one we will never forget! Richard, Kerryn, Lyra and Kayley were all very welcoming and friendly. We were able to connect well through movie nights, dinners and game nights! The work can be physically taxing (we spent most of our time weeding) but rewarding. Both Richard and Kerryn laid out tasks clearly. The camper-van was cozy (even on the cold nights) and had everything we needed. We had our own private bathroom that was attached to the house. We will miss everyone tons but Charlie, Elvis and Bear especially! Thank you :)

I had really good time at the home. My work responsibilities were mostly gardening and small DIY projects. Whole family were very nice. I enjoyed having meals and playing board games together. Even though I was there only for two weeks I had chance to met some of their friends. I also enjoyed going with family for little trips to the beach. I slept in a camper trailer which was clean and modern. It was a bit cold at night though. I recommend staying in the home where atmosphere is nice and host family is friendly.

Kerryn & Richard are wonderful hosts, the girls Lyra & Kayley are lovely and such a credit to them too! I felt so welcomed and so comfortable throughout my stay. The work can be quite demanding and physical, but the down time with the family I really enjoyed. I feel like I got to see parts of Victoria I wouldn't have otherwise! I'll surely remember the experience, thank you all missing you already :(

My experience with Richard and his family was a remarkable experience. In the short time my wife and I were there we really connected with the family. Which made the time go by too fast. Richard had more than enough things to keep us busy, but was very flexible on the hours and the days off. Hopefully in the future we are able to stay with Richard and his family again.

My husband and I's time at the home with our first host family was incredibly special. Candid laughter and healthy, raw conversations led to connections with complete strangers who felt like old friends. We also gained unique and hands-on work experiences living off-grid that was nothing short of rewarding and a breathe of fresh air. We got to live like a local which made this place become more than a bucket list item to do on an itinerary that you show off — it became a part of us. Richard, Kerryn, Lyra, and Kayley have become family! We will think about them often and miss them dearly!

They are really welcome to staying together. They provided a great time for us. For example, having dinner with communications, watching movies on every Friday and Sunday, and exploring in Inverloch. We also had a great experiences in working hard outside with Richard and living with a cat called Charlie who really loves people. Thank you for sharing this wonderful life in nature!

The family were absolutely amazing hosts. I got a home away from home and I loved that they included me in their family life. They're very flexible and you will definitely get what they're promising you. The food was amazing and I enjoyed interacting with Kerryn in the kitchen. Being her sous-chef was probably one of my favorite parts of the stay. Richard's communication is amazing and he's got serious planning skills. The daughters were such sweethearts, I really enjoyed spending my free time with them! The property and the house are amazing! I loved my stay here, thanks!

We had a great experience - Richard and his family made us feel very welcome, and we made lovely memories. Richard is a flexible manager and wanted to ensure we still enjoyed time off. The workload was varied, we learnt a lot, and it felt like we made a good contribution to the project. Do be prepared that the work can be quite physically demanding. We really enjoyed the food, and liked socialising over dinner. Our worldpackers experience at the home will stay with us so we're very grateful - thanks to Richard and his family :)

I had a truly wonderful experience in the home! Richard, Kerryn, Lyra and Kayley make you feel like home straight away. Richard is a great manager when it comes to work - the instructions and tasks are clear, the hours are flexible, and Richard is always there to help you out if you need. The house has a wonderful location, only 10 mins away by car from the beaches, and in a very harmonic setting. Whenever you want to go to the town or the beach, Richard will be happy to give you a lift and give his best advice for sightseeing around. Totally recommend! <3

Richard and his family were very hospitable, work hours were flexible and the scenery and peace here is one of a kind. This trip was unique and one I'm very grateful for and I recommend the home to other travellers alike.
