The hostel was a great hostel. They had a very relaxed vibe, one block from the beach. That simply could not be beat. The beds were great. The AC worked. The showers were hot, and the water had pressure. If you're looking for a party hostel, Maybe there are other hostels that might fit that description better. However, if you want a nice hostel with a relaxed vibe, this is it!

El tiempo que pasé en el hostel fue increíble. Más allá de ser un lugar lindísimo, tranquilo, súper bien ubicado..lo mejor que tiene el hostel es su gente. Volvería sin dudarlo. Me llevo experiencias, aprendizajes y buenas amistades. Fue mi segunda experiencia de voluntariado y fue todo lo que esperé 🤍 gratidão

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue increíble, fue mi primer voluntariado y me sentí muy cómoda. Las personas que trabajan ahí como Silas, Priscila, Adriana, Carol, Mariana me cuidaron mucho y siempre fueron muy respetuosas. Me tocó justo un cambio de gerencia la cual fue increíble porque Ricardo (el nuevo gerente) organizó muy bien el lugar y es muy responsable. Tuve muchos cambios de habitación porque estaban restaurando el lugar Pero ahora las instalaciones son nuevas también para los voluntarios lo cual es una mejora considerable. Lo único para mejorar es respetar las salidas de los voluntarios.

Me fui de the hostel con ganas de quedarme y por eso decidí regresar muy pronto🥹🫶🏼. Encontré este voluntariado con mucha suerte faltando solo 15 días para mi viaje para Río de Janeiro. Las actividades en las redes las disfruté mucho, haciendo actividades con los huéspedes para poder hacer contenido. Disfruté muchísimo mi primer carnaval en esta mágica ciudad, estar cerca de la playa de Ipanema, los voluntarios y el staff fueron un amor y se convirtieron es amigos para toda la vida. Gracias por hacer esta una experiencia maravillosa 🤩🙌🏻

The hostel is a really nice hostel in a great location and the manager Reinaldo as well as the rest of the staff are all really accommodating and lovely. Reinaldo himself is very flexible, understanding and overall just generally a great guy. I think there's definitely some improvements that could be made in terms of volunteer accommodation and also the owners interaction with volunteers but other than that it's a good time. Overall I would recommend! 😎🤩

The staff at the hostel were amazing and super helpful, The room was very small and sometimes we had 3 people staying in it, one would have a mattress on the floor (this was due to owners not wanting volunteers in dorms room) Management were very apologetic when this happened and tried there best to fit us in other dorms rooms but we were moved around a lot without communication, But we did have a room that was just for volunteers so we could keep our stuff there

Família the hostel ❤️ This time at the hostel exceeded all my expectations. I was welcomed with open arms and I truly felt that I was part of the community there. I got a lot of freedom for making content and they were super flexible and caring. I even got to have couple of more nights there due to changes to my travel plans and sudden illness. I hope I get to return one day ❤️

Fue mejor experiencia como voluntario es un Hostel de verás muy lindo y tranquilo la gente de trabajo de ahí son súper buenas personas, son como una familia !! Amo el hostel

Nicolas tem um espírito de Hostel! Está sempre disponível a ajudar e a fazer tudo o que a equipe necessita. Tem muita facilidade de comunicação com todos os hóspedes. Com certeza, já faz parte da Família Mango Tree!

My experience at the hostel was very nice! I got to meet a lot of international travellers, make new friends and enjoy Rio at the same time. The staff is friendly and fun to be around. The work at the reception was very chill and the volunteer room was good. The hostel is located in a very safe and cool area in Ipanema next to various bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, metro stations and just a 2min walk from one of the coolest beaches in Rio!!
