En el contexto de mi participación como voluntario en la ecovila desarrollo comunitario, tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con un grupo diverso de personas de diferentes países y cultura.A través de actividades grupales y talleres, logramos construir un ambiente de colaboración donde se valoraron las fortalezas individuales. Esta interacción constante me permitió mejorar mis habilidades de comunicación en un entorno multicultural, especialmente al abordar temas como la planificación de actividades y la resolución de conflictos.

The Hacienda was bitter sweet. For me I was able to realize a power within myself to do more and be more. I was enamored by the surroundings, the culture and the people. The Hacienda has a work hard, play hard culture. You should be physically fit to be a 5 hr/5 day volunteer as some of the jobs require you to engage in manual labor, such as carrying water buckets around the property. You have to have a can do attitude and be willing to help others when needed. The hours were flexible and respected, I felt as if the folks at the Hacienda became part of my family by the end of my experience. 🙏🏽

Me and my partner spent a month working/staying at the hacienda and it was one of the best experiences I've had. The owner Luis was so lovely and friendly and made us feel so welcoming, it felt like home. Waking up every morning to 20 dogs was the best thing ever. The work was fun and challenging, I learned a lot of new skills during my time there. I loved getting stuck In and meeting new people from all over the world. I loved every minute of it and already planning our trip back. I couldn't recommend hacienda enough. Best month ever.

The eco village was exactly what I needed after travelling non stop for 5 months. Luis and all the other volunteers were incredibly welcoming and the community vibes were cemented by all cooking and cleaning for one another. The work was physical, in a feels good to get your hands dirty way. Waking up on working days you'd know you'd be working together with other volunteers for really practical jobs like clearing channels for our shower water, chopping wood, and building walls for a new shelter. The two weeks I spent there will no doubt be one of my favourite memories of my trip.

We were meant to be staying with Louis for only 2 weeks and ended up staying for a month because we loved it so much! Lois was the best host, friendly and helpful. He took the time to get to know us and makes us feel comfortable. The work was very enjoyable and flexible. We fell in love with all the dogs, make sure you take the time to get to know them all and you will have some friends for life. It was very sad leaving the dogs and Lois, but we have already planned to come back and visit before we leave South America. Thank you Lois for looking after us!

Nuestra experiencia fue muy buena! Nos lo pasamos en grande con toda la gente que conocimos. Había pensado un ambiente muy bonito de trabajo y ayuda. El trabajo que tienes que hacer es muy agradable, siempre relacionado con la naturaleza. Excelente experiencia!

Mi estadía en la ecovila fue genial. Los perros, la casa, las personas que pasan por ahí, todo es una experiencia que volvería a repetir. Me voy muy feliz, con nuevos recuerdos y nuevos aprendizajes. Recomiendo este voluntariado para conectar con la naturaleza, la gente local, más viajeros y sobre todo, con los perritos de la casa🤍

La ecovila es un gran lugar para colaborar como voluntario. La naturaleza del entorno es impactante. Los horarios se cumplen de acuerdo a lo acordado y las tareas son sencillas. Disfruté mucho interactuar con los perros. También es un buen lugar para conocer a muchas personas interesantes y practicar inglés. Recomiendo este proyecto 100%.
