This was my first volunteering and I absolutely loved it. The tasks were fair and easy, so you had a lot of free time also. I felt immediately home there because everyone was really nice. Mel and Amilcar made me feel really comfortable and would help me if I had a problem with something. So If you're looking for socializing, partying and a great city, I would 100% recommend this. I'm definitely coming back!! :)

I really enjoyed volunteering at the hostel. I met so amazing people and made so many get friendships. The work was fairly easy and a lot of fun. Melanie and amilcar were very easy to come to if i had a problem, scheduling conflicts, or just needed help. Would definitely recommend this volunteering!!

I had an amazing time in this hostel, great location, staff very welcoming! I had the opportunity to learn so much during my stay here, the tasks are diverse you da little bit of everything. Would definitely recommend! The schedule was nicely organized by Mel so it was easy to plan your week in advance !

One of the best places to volunteer without a doubt. Within a week it was like home. I had plenty of time to explore Porto and other cities and the taks weren't difficult. Totally recommend it, you definitely will have lots of fun there! I will never forget this hostel and the amazing people that I've met there ❤️

My days were great, if you are looking for a party hostel this hostel is certainly perfect for you. Located in the center of Porto with easy access to everywhere. I recommend 100%

The hostel is an amazing place, everyone that comes falls in love. You basically have three shifts: to change beds and cook, take guests at activities and be a "party leader" and the night shift... You still have time to party and meet people from all the world. The hostel is super good and beautifull, there's a very good kitchen and dinner everyday. I am very happy I came here and gratefull for all the experience :))

The manager was very disrespectful towards multiple voulenteers and sometimes guests as well. The scheduel makes you super tired and worn out. You go from partyshift and group activity to nightshift The next day to clubshift again. At the same time the manager would give people shit for actually spending their free time the way you wanted to and wanted you to mostly spend time with the guests. The Room was way too small for eight people and suuper dirty. I was on the verge of tears when i saw how chaotic the Room was. I enden up leaving on day 3.

Wonderful experience with the most amazing team of volunteers and lovely manager. I've enjoyed my time at the hostel and the lively atmosphere :) The work was very doable and nice! Definitely recommend :)

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Mel the manager takes care of everyone and focuses on providing an open and welcoming environment for both the guests and the volunteers. The team feels like one big family and I felt at home immediately. I would recommend this experience to anyone, no questions asked. The workload was very doable and was always split evenly between everyone!

The hostel Ribeira is the best hostel I have ever stayed/volunteered in. All the volunteers are amazing and we quickly became a family. Guaranteed fun and support! <3
