The hostel was always very clean and enjoyable, most of the staff were friendly, Orianna was also very receptive and kind. The work was pretty straightforward, defined work hours, although I'd stay a little more than my time to finish what I had to do because the work was demanding, as said in the description. Keep in mind that you might be placed to work in one of the other two hotels they have instead of the hostel, and I worked for BHB which is half a square away. The bed was comfortable, but the room only had a small window which didn't get much of natural light. Great experience to learn!

The hostel is well located and maintained, and the work is organised. I helped with cleaning & housekeeping from 6pm-11pm, 5 days a week. The tasks might seem overwhelming at the start but soon you'll find a rhythm! Catalina was incredibly helpful as well and made the work enjoyable ❤️ The reason for 4 stars is that I was expecting more collaboration or social activities between volunteers but that didn't exist: your shift is your shift alone. There was also an initial hiccup with the allocated room but a big thank you to Loreen for instantly accommodating my request.

Hola Rati, muchas gracias por tu comentario. Lamentamos que no hayas podido compartir como esperabas con los otros voluntarios. Normalmente siempre comparten la misma habitación pero como pediste el cambio a otra habitación es normal que no compartas tanto. Ten en cuenta que los voluntarios cambian cada mes y pueden haber chicos mas sociables o chicos mas tranquilos.

El hostel es una buena opción para conectarte con otros viajeros y hacer amigos. La ubicación es muy buena y las tareas se cumplen acorde a lo pactado. También se formo un increíble grupo de voluntarios con los que pase tardes hermosas, y quiero destacar a Paolo y a Gustavo del staff en recepción, ellos son hermosas personas, los voy a extrañar mucho 😔 Gracias Loren por recibirme, me senti como en casa!

Loreen and all the staff at the hostel made me feel incredibly welcomed. The communal living spaces allows you to make many connections with other international travelers. Loreen is very accommodating with time off so I was able to explore places outside of Santiago. I would definitely recommend this place to others looking to volunteer at a hostel in Santiago!

This was my first worldpackers experience. I worked at the bar as a game organizer. Loreen gave me the freedom and space for me to do my thing. The work was simple and the hours where good. You work from tuesday - saturday from 18.00 to 23.00. The experience overall has been great! I have met many amazing people and discover a social side of me that I never knew was there. Thanks to Loreen and the staff for having me and giving me such a good time!

It was my first volunteering experience and I don't think I could have chosen a better place! I felt at home very quickly, I developed social skills I didn't even know I had, I danced, I smiled, I cried, I got sick, I dreamed... I felt alive! All the people, whether guests, staff or other volunteers, are incredible and, believe me, you'll find a family here. Also, a highlight for Loreen who was an incredible host and super understanding as I was working too. Finally, sentirei saudade, and thank you for the love and kindness I've received (and a special hug for Luck).

El voluntariado en el hostel fue increíble, tuve una experiencia totalmente distinta, muy linda, me sentí muy cómodo con mi compañero y huéspedes no tuve problema con nada. Agradezco a mis compañeros, huéspedes, Loreen, por hacerme sentir parte de ese Hermoso Hostal!!

Volunteering in the hostel was such a great experience. Both the host and the other volunteers received me very kind and friendly. The most valuable thing I get from this experience is getting to know all the people I met. Being on the morning shift on breakfast allowed me to meet lovely people and make many friends all over the world. Thanks you so much for this wonderful experience. I highly recommend you to be a volunteer here. :)

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue la mejor que podría tener como mi primer voluntariado! Todos son muy amables y siempre disponibles! Seguramente voy a extrañar mis días en el hostel y con los amigos que hice ahí. Un abrazo a Loreen y todos del staff (Tamrat, Gustavo, Vanessa, Domi y demás)! :)
