Ha sido mi primera experiencia como voluntaria y mi primer viaje en solitario. No podría haber escogido mejor lugar! el surf camp ha sido una familia para mi durante estos meses, el hostal es increíble y el grupo de voluntarios, anfitrión y manager unas increíbles personas. Eternamente agradecida por esta experiencia, me llevo muchos nuevos amigos y el aprendizaje de una nueva cultura, la mejora de mi deporte favorito y muchísimo amor por el surf camp y Marruecos. Gracias a vosotros no me he sentido tan lejos de casa, porque he encontrado un nuevo hogar, sois brutales!!! Un abrazo muy fuerte! :)

I can imagine spending half a year at this place, as it became my home and safe place for just being. Beautiful place to stay with even more beautiful, warm and nice people from all around the world. Working in the surf camp was really chill, tasks were easy, but ofc there was some emphasis on working properly. I had a lot of free time to spend outside (and inside ahah) the hostel too, learned new skills and explored the area of Taghazout and nearby villages. The only disadvantage - we could not use hostel's surfboards, as they have been broken just before my stay. We could use hostel's skateboard.

Taghazout es el sitio perfecto para surfear y conectar con la costa de Marruecos. el surf camp es un hostel en la parte alta del pueblo con una vibra muy buena entre los voluntarios. Aunque no me quedé todo el tiempo que me hubiera gustado, es el sitio ideal si quieres conocer la costa de Marruecos, practicar deportes y tomar contacto con la cultura musulmana.

Volunteering at the surf camp truely was such a beautiful experience. After 5 months of travelling settling down at the house for one month felt exactly like home. The facilities are amazing and the people you meet become friends for life. The duties and responsibilities are shared and it's a nice community amongst the owners and other volunteers. Everyone is very kind. Do come expecting to work though with many duties to complete while you are on shift, regardless though it's not a pressure to be constant you can enjoy the sun cook and chat with guests throughout the shift.

Mouad and the surf camp Crew are a magical bunch. The experience for me has in many ways been one of my best hostel settings. They balance work with play, details with laid back vibes and have an extremely respectful attitude towards the volunteers, and guests who generally are treated and feel like a family. Honestly, I can't recommend it enough... If you're lucky enough to stay with them as a volunteer, the hostel is one of the best in Taghazout and it's more than worth the effort. In my case it's left me with a few friends to last a life time Thank you KEKAII!!!

Volunteering at the surf camp Hostel was an amazing experience. To call it home for a month wasn't long enough. The work itself wasn't overwhelming & the shift times meant that we could surf/skate everyday :) I also work remotely and found no problems in finding the time to do this. The owners Moud & Adri were super helpful & always supporting the staff. The other Volunteers were amazing & definitely felt like family. If I were you I would definitely Volunteer here :)

The surf camp is truly the home away from home. The people I met here hold such a special place in my heart and I know I have made really deep connections here. The hours and workload are so relaxed and the whole vibe of Taghazout as a surf village is just so chilled. This was definitely one of the harder goodbyes I have had along my travels. I will definitely consider going back soon!

The surf camp is the place to be! The most amazing and fun hostel to volunteer at, located in such an awesome town you'll want to call it home. I'm already planning my next visit and would recommend any future volunteer to do the same! See you soon!

It was a wonderful experience at the surf camp's. I felt like home after 2 days. The people are so friendly and you get help whenever you need it. I can just recommend a stay there to everyone.... its impossible to not love it

Time flies when you're enjoying what you're living/doing and that would be my summary of the month I've spent volunteering at this amazing place. The tasks are clear and fair and the staff more than colleagues become a part of your family since day 1. Good vibes, surfing and amazing people all around!!! Counting the days to come back 👐
