The best part was the staff and the guests!! It's been so fun chatting and getting to know the team, they're honestly so iconic. You'll definitely feel like a local by the time you leave because of them! The food is fantastic (will greatly miss the chorizo and kebab). The work is really easy and straight to the point. If you get the opportunity to volunteer here, definitely do it!

Being a volunteer at the hostel has been one of the best experiences of my life! The staff truly does makes you feel part of the family, the vibe it's so nice and welcoming. The works it's exactly as explained, pretty easy and straightforward with a lot of free time to explore Sevilla and Spain in general. The hostel it's such a nice place to meet and connect with people from all over the world. I would do it all over again if I could! I'm gonna save this experience and the people I've met in my heart forever! Thank you the hostel for being a home away from home! 💛 Until we see each other again!

What is there to say about this beautiful place that hasn't already been said? The tasks were clear and I invariably felt that my contributions were respected and appreciated by the other staff. You have a lot of time to do whatever you want (I used this time to practice my Spanish) and the team were incredibly professional when things didn't go perfectly which I appreciated a lot. My time at the hostel is one that I will look back fondly on for the rest of my life. I cannot wait to be back in Sevilla to visit these wonderful people again ❤️ I would recommend this amazing hostel to anybody!

It was truly an amazing experience! Some reasons to volunteer at LaBanda: nightshifts were easy and fun, you have a lot of time to explore beautiful Sevilla, Andalucía or Portugal, it's the perfect place to meet interesting people, magical vibe, beautiful the hostel(bar), delicious food and drinks. But the main reason is the team and heart of LaBanda which makes you feel like home from the very first moment. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, caring, helpful, fun and passionate about their jobs. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity of being part of LaBanda Family for a little while <3

Fue mi primer experiencia como voluntario y mi primer viaje solo lejos de Argentina pero los chicos de the hostel me hicieron sentir como en casa en todo momento. Voy a estar agradecido de por vida por esta oportunidad y por dejarme ser parte del equipo. Aprendí muchas cosas en este tiempo, Sevilla es una ciudad preciosa, muy acogedora y el hostel tiene una energía increíble que se siente ni bien atraviesas la puerta. El turno nocturno me sentó bien, con un buen libro o una serie se pasa rápido y el trabajo es súper fácil. Las condiciones mostradas en worldpackers se cumplieron a la perfección.

Volunteering at LB is the opportunity of a lifetime. The staff are so kind and welcoming. They truly treat you like a part of the family. I worked the night shift, which was straightforward and allowed plenty of time off to explore Sevilla and take mini-trips to the rest of Spain. Volunteers stay in a fantastic shared space just around the corner from the hostel. It was spacious and quiet. The meals are delicious. The location is central to everything. The hostel has such a lively atmosphere. I cannot list a single negative factor about my experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Volunteering at the hostel was truly one of the best experiences I have ever had. I worked the night shift from 12:00 am to 6:00 am. My tasks included helping at reception and preparing for breakfast. It was fun interacting with the people who stayed at the hostel. I came with the intention of improving my Spanish, and I now consider myself conversational. This position offered plenty of time to see Sevilla and Andalusia, and I honestly wish I could have stayed forever. The team at the hostel makes this place incredibly special. I know they will be friends for life; I love them all so much.

El mes y media que estuve fue increiblemente intenso y hermoso. El Hostel tiene una energia muy agradable, el equipo tiene mucho empuje y pone mucho amor en que el espacio haga sentir a gusto a todes. Durante tu estadia podras disfrutar de eventos y actividades que se dan en la terraza, lugar ideal para socializar con los huespedes. En cuanto al trabajo, se cumplieron las condiciones y tareas establecidas. El turno de la noche no implica tantas tareas, pero es real, que a la larga se torna cansador, ya que no descansas muy bien. Es cuestion de saber que la experiencia solo sera por un tiempo!

Its been truly amazing. The place is so cosy and it felt like home so soon. I enjoyed some much the vibe of the team and the guests. Cooking the dinner was a big responsibilty but you get a good support from the team. I recommend 100% the hostel!

Fue mi primer voluntariado y la verdad que quedo la vara muy alta. En el hostel todo el staff se portó de 11, me sentí siempre acompañado. Las comidas fueron excelentes, las instalaciones, la ubicación, las jodas en el hostel.. muchas cosas se van a extrañar, gracias por tanto!

La Banda respondeu

Matías fue un voluntario ejemplar durante su tiempo con nosotros. Siempre estaba disponible para echar un cable cuando hacía falta y su trato con todos los guests fue excelente. Por no mencionar el enorme talento que tiene con el dibujo y lo "cool" que resultaba tenerle pintando en la recepción durante su tiempo libre.

Sin ninguna duda, a la altura de los mejores voluntarios que hemos tenido en La Banda. Un enorme abrazo Mati y que el futuro nos vuelva a juntar! Un placer haber contado contigo :)
