Kamal and his family were truly amazing. Everyone but especially Guma and Shanti were extremely kindhearted. I always asked if I can help with anything but most of the time they would want to do everything for you. When I was there in August it was rainy season so I didn't have to work as much in the farm as I imagined. But when I did it was great. If you are looking for a place filled with kindness and good food I would recommend you go here. But you have to know it is pretty remote, so you can't do too much. The hike is nice and you can also go to the village. Thank you Kamal

Great experience! Already miss the kids and Goma's cooking. The internet is stable for remote working and the living situation is up to expectation. If you want a fulfilling experience that get you in touch with local Nepali people and learn about their culture, this is the one. ◡̈

I stayed with Kamal's family for 3 weeks. I was welcomed with such a warm attitude and they treated me so well. I spent a lot of time playing games with Janesh, their son. They also took me in a trip to visit a Hindu temple in Kathmandu. Because it was rainy season in July, so we did not have much work to do at the farm. Every morning the view towards the Himalayas was stunning. I would recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you a lot for everything.

During my time at the home stay, i was able to participate in daily farm life and also learn about various techniques to help grow the plants/vegetables. Of evenings kamal also kindly offered up various meditation techniques and space to practice in the yoga studio at the homestay. The local environment to the farm is truly stunning. During the day you have free time to explore tracks and windy paths through the forests. If you are coming to Nepal and looking for alternative livings to the fast pace world, then I recommend the farm home stay for sure. 🪷

My time at the homestay was incredible! Firstly, the entire family welcomes you with so much warmth and excitement that it melts your heart! Secondly, the location is so so beautiful and peaceful. At all times you can only hear birds chirping and the wind blowing! And lastly, I had so much fun doing farming, kitchen work, and going on the trek with Jennesh and Kamal! It was an amazing experience overall and i'd definitely recommend you to try it out!

I had an amazing experience living on Kamal's farm with him and his family! Everyone was so welcoming from the very beginning, very hard working, and were very excited to meet us and share their lives with us. It quickly felt like we were welcomed as an apart of their family. It was a perfect place to get into nature and experience the beauty of Nepal's country side. And if you're lucky there's a view of the entire Himalayan range on the horizon which we were lucky enough to see at sunrise!

My volunteering time at My. the farm was such a wholesome experience. Kamal and his entire family ( Goma, Gopini, Gopal, Kushal & Jennesh) are such lovely and warm people. The food here is so nourishingly fresh and it was my first time appreciating vegetarian food so much! The tasks help you feel close to nature- I showed beans, watered mushrooms, sifted pulses & grains, helped in the kitchen. Kamal also organises hikes and camping adventures if you are interested. Overall this was an excellent first time volunteering experience for me!

Mi experiencia en la granja ha sido maravillosa. Me siento muy agradecido con la familia por ser tan amables conmigo y hacerme sentir parte de la familia, aunque solo haya estado por un corto tiempo. Es una experiencia inmersiva perfecta por si quieres aprender cómo se vive desde una perspectiva local!! La comida deliciosa y el paisaje hermoso. Espero volver con más tiempo. Recomiendo la experiencia al 100%.

I have a wonderful time with Kamal and his family. As many others have said, they are so welcoming and you quickly feel like part of the family. The meals are delicious and very nourishing. I had a lot more free time than I was expecting, but when I did work it was fun and I learned a lot. Thank you for an incredible experience. I hope to come again!
