Tha place and the surroundings are very beautiful, amazing for hiking. The finca is very isolated, though. Be aware that is very far from the beach and at least 1,5h walking from the nearest city where you can go to take the bus anywhere. The work was varied and from 9am to 2pm, exactly like agreed. I enjoyed moving around and doing different tasks. Also a very good experience if you want to enjoy some nature and peace. Not a place for a Spanish culture immersion because they are both from Germany, but we had a great time with them and the other volunteers.

It was a good experience helping Chris to assemble a canopy and inner structures for their new camper van. The jobs may vary accordingly with their necessities... The place is in a rural area with lots of nature to check around (some close but others not much).

We were really pleased to be at Finca los taraioles, everything was as we were expecting 😀 The location is nice and well prepared, tasks are different, you never get bored, food is very good, especially the egg's made by happy chickens which Annette takes care every single moment, you can see a connection between them 😀 Chris is very friendly and a nice person to speak with, furthermore he is a special cooker 😉 Even the cats are so lovely, we really thank you guys!!

This was our first experience and we couldn't ask for anything better. Chris and Annette are amazing host that make you feel at home from the first day. The work is various so you never get bored and the place is really beautiful between the mountains. Chris is an amazing cooker and Annette is the best yoga teacher you could ever ask for! Thank you for everything <3

This was our first experience with Worldpackers and it was really great! There is always something to do but the work is never too hard. Chris and Annette are truly special people, they make you feel at home from the first time you get there. Chris is an amazing cooker and Annette introduced us to the “yoga's world” (in a magnificent way). It was all perfect! :)

Annette has such a uniquely beautiful and loving soul which she expresses wonderfully with both her yoga practice and her knowledge. Christian is simply one of the coolest guys I've ever had the privilege of knowing, and is an exceptional cook! The accomodation I was given was not only comfortable, but both hosts offered to make it more cozy if needed (which I didn't need because it was perfect). I was given privacy and the freedom to use the communal areas when I wanted. I was working with Chris doing maintenance and construction, he is an excellent leader and sets a good example! Thanks!!

My experience was amazing. Chris and Annette are wonderful people, with good stories and willing to help. The activities were easy and the food was amazing. The city is 1h far (walking) from the finca. The animals are amazing, I'm missing you all! Hope to see you again!

I had a wonderful time on the finca :) Chris and Annette are very special, they are truly welcoming and I immediately felt at home.The finca is located in a beautiful place close to the mountains, it's very quiet and the sky during the night is full of stars. I mainly worked in the garden and I really enjoyed it; Chris and Annette were very good in explaining the tasks and available if I had some doubts. The afternoons were very peaceful for swimming, hiking, yoga... I also had a health issue and Annette has been very kind and brought me to visit a doctor. I truly recommend this experience!

I am very glad that I was part of the experience and had the chance to meet Chris, Annette and the other volunteers. They were very respectful, the working hours were respected every time and the general atmosphere was a very warm and welcoming one. I had the chance to learn about off-grid life, learn about sustainability, and also explore the surroundings of the area. I believe volunteering at Finca gives you a great overview of a sustainable life. I would like to thank Chris for the great food we had every day, Annette for the yoga lessons and generally, for an awesome experience!!
