Live an amazing off-grid experience close to the sea!

I had a lovely time staying here with my partner for 2 weeks. It's a beautiful site with mountain views and plenty of nice spots to relax. During our stay we helped to build vegetable beds designed to protect future plants from harsh winds, drought and sunshine. Chris is welcoming and full of knowledge about permaculture. I came away having learnt about eco-building, water systems and other principles of sustainable living through practical tasks and interesting discussions. His chickens are very friendly and the food was always delicious. I highly recommend this place to other volunteers!

The finca is a beautiful corner of the earth surrounded by amazing scenery. Chris is a nice guy full of interesting stories, insights on life and also a great cook! Work was varied. We mainly did construction, gardening, painting & some cleaning. The hours were always respected and the work/free time balance is perfect. You get lots of time to explore, relax, have privacy if that's what you want but also to socialise too. Nice chickens and cats, cosy accommodation and I am leaving with more knowledge of sustainable living. All in all a good experience :)

I had so much fun on the finka, Annette is full of knowledge and interesting conversations and Chris as well plus he's a wonderful cook! The area is absolutely beautiful so be sure to take the bike out and explore the mountains. Be ready to work and be pretty isolated though!

Tha place and the surroundings are very beautiful, amazing for hiking. The finca is very isolated, though. Be aware that is very far from the beach and at least 1,5h walking from the nearest city where you can go to take the bus anywhere. The work was varied and from 9am to 2pm, exactly like agreed. I enjoyed moving around and doing different tasks. Also a very good experience if you want to enjoy some nature and peace. Not a place for a Spanish culture immersion because they are both from Germany, but we had a great time with them and the other volunteers.

It was a good experience helping Chris to assemble a canopy and inner structures for their new camper van. The jobs may vary accordingly with their necessities... The place is in a rural area with lots of nature to check around (some close but others not much).

We were really pleased to be at Finca los taraioles, everything was as we were expecting 😀 The location is nice and well prepared, tasks are different, you never get bored, food is very good, especially the egg's made by happy chickens which Annette takes care every single moment, you can see a connection between them 😀 Chris is very friendly and a nice person to speak with, furthermore he is a special cooker 😉 Even the cats are so lovely, we really thank you guys!!

This was our first experience and we couldn't ask for anything better. Chris and Annette are amazing host that make you feel at home from the first day. The work is various so you never get bored and the place is really beautiful between the mountains. Chris is an amazing cooker and Annette is the best yoga teacher you could ever ask for! Thank you for everything <3

This was our first experience with Worldpackers and it was really great! There is always something to do but the work is never too hard. Chris and Annette are truly special people, they make you feel at home from the first time you get there. Chris is an amazing cooker and Annette introduced us to the “yoga's world” (in a magnificent way). It was all perfect! :)
