Es una experiencia única, toda la organización es excelente, pude conocer la cultura y la salud con una experiencia inmersiva del país, al mismo tiempo te hace sentir con la seguridad de estar en casa, hay muchas actividades recreativas entre voluntarios y con los organizadores para poder aprovechar el tiempo libre de la manera que tu prefieras. En el hospital puedes aprender mucho con los pacientes y con el staff, todos te reciben con los brazos abiertos, en general te hacen sentir bienvenida donde estés. THO es una gran oportunidad para los voluntarios en muchos aspectos es espectacular.

This was such a great experience! Our homestay was wonderful and our family really made us feel at home and helped us learn about the local culture. Dr. William and his team were very welcoming and accommodating leading to us having a great experience. We learned so much and felt like we were able to help so many people, all while getting to learn and immerse ourselves in the culture! If you are on the fence about this opportunity, do it!

I had a fantastic experience volunteering with the Tanzanian the organization in Dar es Salaam, working alongside midwives and gaining valuable hands-on experience. My husband helped with fundraising materials and learned a lot about THO's impactful work in the community. Our host family was incredibly welcoming, providing delicious meals and a glimpse into Tanzanian culture. Dr. William and Chris made our experience memorable by combining hospital work with adventures around Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. We loved every moment!

My time at Samaritan volunteers was amazing! I really enjoyed my time here. The kids are lovely and you have the opportunity to spend lots of time with them (in the morning and afternoon). When I was at Samaritan, there were about 10 other volunteers. The staff makes you feel at home. Would recommend this project to everyone.

Life changing experience! I contributed to the project by taking photos during an outreach program and redesigning the organization's website. From the very beginning everyone in THO was warm and welcoming, especially David and Chris, two incredible people, funny, interesting and open-minded. The family host made me feel right at home and the food was always excellent. I was lucky to share this experience with a truly exceptional group of volunteers, with whom i developed a deep bond that will last forever. I will always be grateful to THO for this opportunity that has made me a better person

I stayed at the Samaritan School for a month, and the project was truly amazing. The teachers were incredible, and as a volunteer, it really felt like you could contribute to the children's the organization. Emmanuel offered a lot of free time activities, and Jackson was always ready to accompany you in any situation. I would recommend staying longer if possible, as I truly felt that four weeks weren't enough, and I would have loved to stay some more weeks. All in all, everything went smoothly with both the host and the project and I would definetly come again if I get the chance to. Asante sana! ❤️

My time with Samaritan Volunteers in the organization was life-changing. I captured the children's joy through photographs and felt the love all around. The ladies we lived with, cooked for us all day everyday and made it feel like home, and Emmanuel and Jackson were always there to answer questions—Emmanuel even joined me on a 5-day Serengeti safari! I'm beyond grateful for my 4 weeks there. It was a humbling experience, there were hard days, but they made me appreciate everything I have at home. Overall, it was a beautiful experience. Thank you, Samaritan Volunteers—I miss everyone already!

Working with Samaritan Volunteers was probably one of the best experiences i've ever had. I loved everything about the project, but what literally filled my heart with joy was to stay side by side with children at school, from which I learned more than I could ever teach. I must say thank you to Emmanuel and all the staff of the organisation, for making me experience the local community and at the same time feel at home; to all the volunteers I met and shared time with, who improved even more the over all experience; finally, a great “thank you” to the children, whom I hope to see once again❤️

The organization project is beautiful and very well organised. Emmanuel and Jackson helped us with everything before and during the project. We felt home from the very first minute and enjoyed every second of our adventure with them. Everybody was so welcoming: other volunteers, the teachers, the students and the local people. We got the best experience by getting to know the culture and the community much better from the inside. We will forever be thankful for this experience❤️ Asante Sana 🙏
