My experience has been very enriching. I had the opportunity to connect with nature, improve my photography skills and share time with local people. Hardi and his wife are very friendly and supportive, so if you have any problems please don't hesitate to say it as soon as possible. If you are curious about local culture and enjoy nature but also easy-going and creative person, this place is a great option.

The Pine Forrest project has TONS of potential, and the two local boys that own it are the best people I have ever met. A few suggestions; Bring a motorbike because it's in a small village without much. The schedule isn't exact. Hardi likes to work one day and take one day to adventure. So don't expect routine or set work hours with days off. Also, the project has no money, so dont have high expectations of major renovations. After knowing this, I promise you will have an amazing time. Hardi and his family are very welcoming, and Temanggung is one of the most beautiful places in java 🤟

This is the second time I stayed with Hardi. From the first moment he, his family and Wahyu make me feel like at home. The experience is based on touring site and extraordinary experiences in Teamanngun. Connect with nature, meet local people and get know the new sustainable project in the area. All the time I was there I enjoyed the tranquility and the rhythms of life. Learning from Hardi's wisdom and meeting other travelers from different parts of the world with whom to enjoy this beautiful place. Also thanks to Diah and his delicious dinners. An experience that I will difinitely repeat.

Experienced such kindness from hardi and diah felt welcomed into their family and home straight away. I ended up in hospital with food poisoning(from street food) and cannot thank them enough for everything they did for me the whole time but especially those few days. Had an amazing time getting to experience local life ended up going to a wedding, seeing traditional dances and speaking/connecting to local people learn about their lives whilst also being surrounded by the most beautiful nature. The schedule is flexible and chilled helping with social media content and encourage sustainability

Hardi and his wife are really nice and open minded people. I was really comfortable in his house having nice conversations, playing music or eating nice food. Hardi has different projects with great potential and I had the opportunity to work in a pine forest. The place is beautiful and I am really happy that we could put in practice our ideas and finish it in time. We also started a podcast project that was really fun. If you are looking for a place to bring ideas and put it in practice as a team I really recommend this experience.

This experience was great! It made me grow in ways I never would've imagined. After spending 2 weeks in Temanggung with Hardi & his family, I feel I have become a better person, friend, & traveler. Hardi & his wife Diah are so kind & welcoming, they make sure you know that you're not alone. They'll help with anything & answer a million questions. It was lovely to feed off of Hardi's up for anything attitude & take in his knowledge of Java island. The scenery is incredible & there are so many new things to try if you are willing to take a risk! Come ready for some soul searching!

Hardi and Dia are awesome. You feel like part of the family as soon as you arrive and Dia makes amazing food. Hardi plays the guitar and sings when he can which is really fun to join in with! I believe Hardi has done a great job finding compromises that truly benefit the traveller and the local community and you will see what I mean when you go here :). He also offered some hiking tours which I would recommend if you like hiking - and knew the best places to visit and eat around Temanggung. Meeting the people here is something I will never forget - and will always hold close to my heart.

The style of teaching is very laid back with little structure you are more freely meeting locals and offering them an opportunity to improve their English. The hope is to give them the ability to expand their business field and to have an engaged experience of the wider world. During my stay I felt I myself was equally learning some important lessons from Hardi. Along the many journeys we went on from fields, mountains, waterfalls and scenic skies there was a found appreciation for what I, others and nature have to offer!
