Helen was the best host we could have had for our first work-away experience. She tried to make our stay as good as possible. The garden work was a bit hard, but doable. Most tasks were enjoyable and safe. The housekeeping duties were easy to understand and not that hard. The only downside in regards to the accommodation was the externally-located bathroom. But everything else was welcoming.

My girlfriend and I spent there one month and a half. The place is really quiet and sorrounded by beautiful landscapes with lovely cities nearby. Our room was comfortable even though the bathroom was outside. Our jobs were exactly as we had agreed. About the food and kitchen, Helene always provided us with everything we needed and asked for, for us to cook and eat. That was super! She also was really caring and empathic when we needed help and support with personal situations out of calendar. We weren't able to spend so much time with Daniel and Mel but they seem to be very nice people.

It was my first volunteering and it could not be better... The hostel is located in a beautiful and peaceful environment, so if you like nature and the outdoors, I would definitely recommend it. Helen and Daniel are super kind and generous people.. The work is as described in the post and my room was super comfortable and beautiful .. definitely love this place and would recommend it ☺️🙌🏼✨

I spent a little over a month at Helene's house and I can say that it was a very pleasant experience. She is a generous, patient person and welcomed me very well at her home. I had a really comfortable room. I thank Helene for the opportunity and say that I could return one day.

The surroundings have beautiful landscapes. It's a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. Helene, Daniel and Bou were and are the best so far, the most kind people. I'm really grateful with the opportunity they gave me to help in the garden and enjoy in that beautiful place. Hugs and best regards
