I really enjoyed my time at the hostel: the common areas are big and well organised, perfect to socialise. Cherry on top were the other volunteers, I feel like we made a great team and worked really well together. Accommodation should be better, the volunteers' room is overcrowded and there is barely any space to walk or put your stuff. Jose helped with everything we needed, however I feel like the volunteers should be taken better care of. Most of the times we were left to interact with the manager, who always brushed off anything we had to say and often talked down to us

La experiencia en el hostel es enriquecedora y muy divertida, pues permite conectar con otros voluntarios de diferentes países y conocer de sus culturas, además tiene una muy buena ubicación dentro de Montañita pues está a dos cuadras de la playa y muy cerca al centro,. Las instalaciones del hostal cómodas. Sugerimos al anfitrión explicar un poco mejor las tareas al momento de la llegada. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia aquí, Montañita es un lugar hermoso y esta es una experiencia q sin duda vale la pena ❤️

The hostel is a really nice spot to volunteer at. It's super quite and chill now, not a party hostel as it used to be. Jose is welcome and always help you whatever you need. One of the best parts is that you can use hostel's surfboards for free. I'd definitely recommend you to stay at the hostel if you want to spend a couple of weeks in Montañita The reason I give a 4 is that I applied for a bartender position, but there was not much work and I had to change it to reception at the hostel

This experience was good overall. The tasks are easy (reception and cleaning) and the schedule can be flexible. During your stay you can experience living and meeting other international travelers, learn or practice surf and party with other volunteers. Thank you José for making our stay really enjoyable !

J'ai adoré mon expérience au the hostel. C'est l'endroit idéal pour faire la fête! Les gens qui y travaillent sont accueillant et super gentil. J'ai eu la chance de me faire tout pleins de nouveaux amis. Je recommande cet Hostel à 100%. C'est assuré que je serai de retour!

El hostel Montañita, Es un hostel que conecta con viajeros, música, playa, ecología y buena energía y están ahí para echarte una mano por SI lo necesitas. ¡Lo recomiendo! :=)

El voluntariado en the hostel fue increíble. El hostal está bien situado cerca del centro y de la playa de Montanita. El trabajo es tranquilo con horarios divididos en turnos. Espero volver a visitarlo algún día.

At first I wasn't sure if i wanted to stay because some things was not how I expected it. So it took some used to it and i really loved it. I was suppose to work at the bar in the hostel because it's a party hostel but they didin't told me it was not like that anymore so I had to work in a club in town. I didin't really speak spanish so it was hard at first but i got the hang of it and Pedro, the bartender, was really nice and funny! The others volonteers were nice as well we had a great gang but everybody left and there was no more people at the reception so we could have used more people :)

LOS EQUIPOS SON MUY BUENOS.. PERO NUNCA HIZO LO QUE SE LE ASIGNO Y NUNCA NOS DIO ALGO DE SU TRABAJO .. HASTA AHORA ESTAMOS ESPERANDO...
