I'm so grateful for my experience at the coliving and for all the amazing people I met here. It is a great way to immerse yourself in the culture, and you get to have a lot of interesting conversations with locals at the coliving. My sharehouse was also centrally located and just one train station away from Shinjuku. I would definitely recommend this experience!

I highly recommend this experience! This is the best way to live Tokyo like a local, to connect with a lot of people and learn more about different cultures, especially Japanese culture. The hours of the shifts were always respected, giving you plenty of time to explore the city at your own pace. The host Yuta is extremely kind, respectful and easygoing, the concept and vibes of the coliving are amazing, specially on Friday nights.

My experience at the coliving was great, I am grateful for the opportunity I was given. Even though I applied last minute, Yuta was very available and helpful. The cafè is strategically placed a couple of stations from Shinjuku and Shibuya, and it is 5 minutes from the station. The accomodations for the volunteers are all in equally good locations and pretty close to work. The atmosphere in the cafè is warm and it is a good opportunity to meet lovely people, definetly recommend!

I loved my stay here. Imagine being in Shinjuku, the most "Tokyo looking" area of all Tokyo. Not only that, you get to meet a lot of volunteers from around the world (at least 20 people working), so you could make meaningful connections, or travel pals to explore the city... And thanks to the type of work, you learned about the culture and you get to bond with locals, meeting new friends or receiving a lot of recommendations of things to do in Tokyo.... You're staying in a house apart from the coliving, and depending of the people you are staying with, the house could be clean or messy, so be nice

The coliving is perfect for anyone coming to Japan hoping to learn about the culture, but with barely any Japanese. Most of the customers are Japanese, and the café works as a bit of a bubble where topics you would usually avoid around the table (politics, personal stories, cultural elements) are commonly discussed between strangers. I got lots of great insight and tips for my travels that way! Yuta was also very flexible, working a schedule around my school hours. He also helped me with the admin side of the Working Holiday, and even let me stay longer when my other plans fell through!

I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity at the coliving Coffee, where I met amazing people. Our tasks are so fun it doesn't even seem to be a task! Customers are so kind, we have a really good time with them. I miss it a lot! A special thanks to Yuta, who is very experienced receiving foreigners at his place, which made me feel very comfortable and safe since the first moment. Unfortunately I got sick and had to come back earlier than we had planned :( I felt sad because I was enjoying so much everything!! I hope I will be back ! Thanks for being so comprehensive Yuta ! See you soon !

I really enjoyed my stay at the coliving! I got to meet a ton of lovely people, with whom I was able to enjoy my Time in Tokyo to the fullest. Yuta himself was incredibly welcoming, and he helped me with an array of practical things in my first few weeks. The accommodation was a very fun environment to live in, and you get to become close with your flatmates. The state of the place depends on the effort people living there put in. If everyone makes an effort to clean, then there should be no issues. Keeping the place clean is mainly the tenants responsibility. Thank you the coliving!

Good experience overall staff is very welcoming and so are the customers. It was great to be able to talk to Japanese people almost everyday and learn more about the country & culture. Teaching French & help people practice their French was very rewarding Sidenote, the sharehouse was incredibly dirty with mold everywhere in the cabinets, in the showers, inside the microwave, on the mattresses... and there was also cockroaches. We tried our best with my roommates to clean all of that but it's a shame to host people in such a place

About house condition, basically people in the house clean up weekly. If there is any problem, you should have tell me at that time. Then I could give you mold killer for the cabinets and shower, also a new mattress. There were no cockroaches in this summer, isn't it because you guys put garbage on the floor when the garbage box gets full? I have a machine to kill roaches, you also should have tell me about it.

The experience at the coliving was absolutely new to me. It helped me develop new skills and get to know interesting people. The task is simple when you bring your best ability to talk about anything and everything. The accommodation with the other volunteers has a lot of opportunities to be improved.
