I spent nine days at the farm and would have stayed longer if I didn't have a friend to meet! The host: the farm was funny, helpful, informative, and so kind. Deng cooks amazing vegetarian food. You will not be hungry. The experience: morning & evening meditation. 3 meals a day. We did something different every day, which was fun. From gathering bamboo to building with it, helping set the foundation for a community kitchen, cleaning up the farm, painting, I loved it all. The stay: private bungalows with sleeping pads and blankets. I was warm enough.

The farm Phone and Deng are lovely people and were so welcoming, I'm very grateful for having had the chance to spend some time in total immersion in their very simple, healthy and yet fulfilling lifestyle. We got the chance to do something different every day, from chopping some bamboo, to helping out on the village construction site, with some farming and building of a chicken house and compost along the way. The amount of work was pretty low, most afternoons being left open to walk around the surroundings, go to the hot springs or even attend a mountain village's celebration. Highly recomme

I didn't learn much about sustainable agriculture because of the language barrier but the farm family is lovely.

Living at WatcharaFarm was a great experience. the farm and his family are nice hosts. I really like Dangs food, it was always delicious and a lot. The life in the nature is completely different to the life I have at home or while travelling. It was a good experience too to see how to live that minimalistic and be happy. The work we did was not really hard. I most liked working together with the locals.

The conditions on the farm are very simple and require you to forgo a lot of comfort. In return you get the opportunity to get to know part of Thai culture and spend a lot of time in nature. the farm and his family are great hosts and the food from Dang is wonderful. I learned a lot in a relatively short time and met great people. I'm happy about this experience!

The farm has created an amazing environment immersed in nature and with Dang's cooking you will not go hungry. There is a variety of tasks to be completed depending on the season, so it is a great chance to learn lots of new things, if you go during the rainy season I recommend taking boots. I would also recommend checking that other volunteers will be there during your stay as I made some great friendships with other travellers here and it is a really good shared experience.

The host family is really kind and full of hospitality. However, i believe that one of the most important and joyful part of volunteering is communication with other volunteers. From this perspective I can't recommend you to go to the Farm as volunteer in the rainy season. Since there is a high possibility of being alone in the farm. So i do recommend to not go to the Farm in the rainy season. If your schedule was really tight and have no choice but go there in the monsoon season I recommend you to ask the host if there are other volunteers in the same period as yours. After all, it was great!

Had a great time on the farm! Awesome food and cute dogs haha. The mosquitoes were really bad when I went though, I wish I would've brought more protective clothing. Once you get used to it it's really no big deal.

During my stay we planted peanut and sweet potato. And we also made the chicken's house. It was a nice learning experience the farm, Dang and phon was so accommodating. They did their very best to make us feel at home . And the food is so delicious and healthy. Staying and farming at the farm is surely one for the list.
