This is a true experience in the nature. I recommend to go to the ecofarm during the hot season and not the rainy one. Dang's kitchen is truly marvellous and she is caring as a second mom to everyone. There is no electricity and no WiFi so be aware of that. Bring mosquito spray and try not to be afraid of spiders :) I think one week is enough to stay here.

Beautiful farm, just as described. Very rustic but that's what I was looking for. I was there on my own, but the experience would have been better if other volunteers were there, so it's worth checking that beforehand. The work was easy and interesting. Lots of free time to paint/ read. As much food as I could ever eat! About a two hour journey to get to the farm in a songthaew, so quite remote! Bring a power bank because they can charge it over night (I also had 4G when I was there so you have still use your phone if you want)

Pros Peacefull, surrounded by nature, meet the locals, nice family Cons One day the farm took me to an elephant sanctuary, after he had assured me it was good for the elephants, I saw them being beaten with a stick and hook, abused and used for riding. I can not support a place that willingly supports animal abuse. Also burning of trash about 100m from the farm. Do not come here from Feb-April, air pollution really is hazardous for you. This is not providing a sustainable future at all. There was no work for me while I was here so did not get the exchange I was expecting. More like Air Bnb

An amazing experience for people that are interested in learning new skills including teaching English, meditation, Buddhism, building bamboo construction and so much more! I enjoyed the part that there was no electricity so it was a perfect opportunity for phone detox and the spare time I had, I mostly read or chatted with other volunteers. Easy to make friends since everyone was so nice and lovely!

I stayed 11 days in the farm. It was an interesting experience. The communication was hard and I had very little interaction with the farm. The advantage was that we were able to go to a school near Myamar and meet the Karen ethnic group.

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and it was pretty great overall! I had some trouble getting to the farm, but the farm was super accommodating and helpful along the way, which I really really appreciated. There wasn't actually that much to do in terms of work throughout my time here. However, the farm was helpful in giving recommendations for things me and others could do, and also in planning excursions for us occasionally! Getting to meet other like minded volunteers was definitely a highlight as well. If you're coming in the winter, I recommend packing some extra warm layers!

I will definitely miss the farm, Dang and Phone and all the other volunteers. My time in the farm is very peaceful and soulful. Very nice to learn Buddhism from the farm and his life. It's a perfect place if you want to away from the city and find inner peace. Also, Dang's food is so good that I will never forget.

The farm was an incredible experience. The farm is super peaceful and the accommodation is great. The work was a variety of different tasks. From wood cutting, building gardening shelves, planting and seeding, and also learning to cook from Dang who cooks the most amazing food you will ever eat. Walking meditations in the morning and evening meditations by the camp fire. Extremely kind loving family. Completely fell in love with this family and the lifestyle. Great balance between work, rest and great food. On off days got to go on hikes, partake on Buddhist temple ceremony.

That was my first worldpackers experience and I really loved the week spent there :) the farm and his family are very welcoming and want you to have great time. The vegetarian food from "Dang's restaurant" is delicious 😋 there is not that much work, I think it's more about expirience itself, although I did some wood cutting from the jungle, help with construction and plant seeds! Also was taken for jungle trekking and party with locals 😍 you can chill down a bit, be with local culture, learn a bit about Buddhism meditation technics and enjoy fireplace every evening - recommending : )
