My experience the hostel was amazing! The host, Carlos, creates a welcoming environment for all volunteers. I had time to explore PR on my days off! The work load is manageable. I spent 2 weeks here and it was a memorable experience! I definitely recommend volunteering at this hostel.

I had an excellent work travel experience the hostel. Carlos, the host, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, stress-free, and fun. The hostel's location was ideal, offering convenience and accessibility. The work was straightforward and pretty easy and Carlos's hospitality truly made it a standout experience for my first time in Puerto Rico. Highly recommend the hostel for first time travelers wanting to experience hostel life. Definitely will be back!

Es mi segunda vez en el hostel y vuelvo a corroborar que es mi lugar favoritooooo al que siempre voy a querer volver <3. Las tareas son simples y tenemos mucho tiempo libre para recorrer la isla y Carlos que es el manager siempre está para cuando lo necesitemos!. Algo muy importante es que si quieres ser voluntaria aquí debes cumplir y ser responsable con el trabajo que no es mucho, pero si requiere un compromiso y tener empatía con tus compañeros para que todo se pueda llevar de la mejor forma. Recomiendo este lugar a toda persona que ame la fiesta y quiera contagiarse de la energía de PR 🫶🏻

Este fue el primer voluntariado que he hecho, y realmente no me arrepiento, todo en PR es bellísimo, el hostel esta muy bien ubicado, las tareas a realizar son muy sencillas, y hay muchos días libres para salir y conocer. Carlos es un excelente anfitrión y siempre está pendiente de las necesidades de las voluntarias. Si tomas este voluntariado no te vas a arrepentir🫶🏻🇵🇷

Like a LOT of my friends and reviews said here, the first part of the trip was awesome. We went out together, and Carlos seemed interested in showing us Puerto Rico and generously borrowed us his car. Later though, and while drinking, his behavior became less and less professional. Among other things, he spoke to a volunteer in a way that made her uncomfortable and then stopped showing up to the hostel for the rest of my time there. It was awkward and uncomfortable. Despite me leaving on good terms and working hard, he claimed that I was a no-show and fully stopped responding to my messages.

Esta voluntaria renunció a sus tareas antes de la fecha prevista. También canceló su voluntariado en mi otro hostel. No respeto las reglas del hostel.
NO realizó bien sus tareas en el hostel como hacer camas y limpieza general, además NO hablaba español como indica en su perfil.
Estubo 26 días en mi albergue de los cuales solo realizo 2 turnos. Los demás días los tomó libres sin ninguna contribución al albergue.
NO RECOMIENDO a esta voluntaria a ningun otro host/anfitrion.

This was a good first experience! The work load was super manageable and it was nice to have other girls my age to live and explore the city with. A lot of us were talking and agreed that 2 weeks is the perfect amount of time in the hostel, if you are still deciding how long to stay.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and to say it was amazing is an understatement! Carlos is an incredible host and is very generous with his time and energy to make sure we have everything we need, and that we get to really explore the island. The work is super manageable and there's a looooott of free time, so make sure you have a few things planned of what you wanna do in PR! Overall would 100% recommend!!

Desde el principio, el hostel se ha convertido en un hogar para mi, y eso es gracias a las voluntarias y a Carlos. Las instalaciones, la ubicación y el ambiente que se crea es inmejorable, y se puede apreciar la atención que pone Carlos en cuidar los espacios de las voluntarias en el hostal. Estoy eternamente agradecida de haber podido vivir esta experiencia y, definitivamente, la repetiría sin dudarlo para poder disfrutar de lo increíble que es Puerto Rico.

The host Carlos takes great care of his team and his hostel! We could always reach out to him if there were to be any problems or concerns and he always checked in to see how we are doing. He would take us on fun activities and made sure we had a good time during our stay. The hostel is very clean and the people are super social and fun to hang out with. The work was super doable and there's a lot of free time to discover the island. Definitely would recommend!
