This was my first volunteering with worldpackers and it was such an amazing experience. The work was easy, after you do your tasks you're free for the rest of day so we had plenty of time to get around in montenegro. Victoria the manager was really welcoming and always made trips together with the volunteers and Aleks was an amazing host too. Thank you for the experience!

I had an amazing time at the hostel. The workload was very easy and well communicated and left me plenty of time to explore the city. Everyone I met was so nice and welcoming and I was honestly sad to go! Thank you to the hostel for welcoming me with open arms and for an amazing experience! I hope to visit again soon<3

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. You're required to do your daily tasks and you still have time so get to know Montenegro. Victoria was very helpful showing everything around and making this experience worth it. Very sweet manager that has a very beautiful soul. Thank you for everything.

I really enjoyed my stay here at the hostel but for anyone coming here BRING BUG SPRAY (lots of mosquitos). The work was really easy and laid back (mainly just cleaning) with no strict schedule to follow which I really enjoyed. The bathroom needed to be remodeled during my stay here but I was able to use the tennis court bathrooms (4 showers and 2 toilets) which was only a two minute walk from the hostel and had wifi there as well. Aleksandar is a very kind and funny dude. I enjoyed getting to know him and learn more about the culture of Montenegro as well!

The hostel was an interesting experience for me. The head volunteer Victoria was really cool and often times cooked meals for the other volunteers. It was nice meeting other people from around the world. Tasks mainly included laundry, cleaning and checking in the guests. Be warned to bring mosquito spray, as I'm not exaggerating I've never been bitten more before haha.

Had a memorial time at the hostel ! Made some amazing friends , Victoria was a great manager and always made me feel comfortable and at home , Alex was very kind and took us out in his boat on the last day which was definitely a highlight of the trip ! The work was light so had lots of time yo explore bar although there is not much to do , the beaches where nice though but it's a 40 minute walk from the hostel ! also bring lavender oil as it helps a lot with the mosquitos !:)

The hostel was a fantastic experience! The work was straightforward, allowing lots of time to explore beautiful Montenegro. Aleksander is a kind and fair host, always ensuring we had plenty of time to enjoy our surroundings. Highly recommended!

I had so much fun at the hostel the last week and a half! This experience is very much what you make of it. The work isn't too hard and my manager and Aleksandar always made sure I was enjoying the experience as well as getting the work done. I think it's best to go into this knowing what to expect. There are mosquitoes, a bit older of facilities, and you have to walk about 30 minutes to get to town. None of these were real issues for my stay but it's definitely important to keep in mind when applying! I had plenty of free time to explore Bar and Montenegro and I would totally recommend this!
