My experience at Santiago Guesthouse was really great! The work is simple and usually, it took never longer than 2 hours to finish all the tasks. The staff and the other volunteers are very kind and made me feel welcomed and at home :)) Also, the guesthouse is very close to all the touristic places, which is good. I even decided to extend my stay here because I loved it so much !!

I had the best time at Santiago Hiroshima. I was blessed with the best group of people to work with and become friends with. Every moment was amazing. There was no barrier between helpers and workers making making friends super easy, with everyone organising lots of group activities and outings. Its a super supportive environment. The work it's self was simple and well explained. They were very accommodating and communication was never a problem I can't recommend them enough, there's a reason they have a high return rate of helpers. I miss the gang already and can't wait to go back one day

My time the hostel was fantastic! The (rather large) team was great, we supported each other at work and even afterwards there was always someone who wanted to do something. The dorm was surprisingly quiet, but the kitchen was too small for the number of people imho, which is why I almost completely gave up cooking. There was always a pinch of chaos, but that's understandable during the peak season (Sakura, Golden Week). The manager went out of her way to make sure we had a good time and was listening to our wishes and suggestions, I felt very welcome and respected - thanks a lot!

I've had a great time here at Santiago Hiroshima! The staff have made the stay here very enjoyable and relaxing. The workload is split between many coworkers making the work day go by quickly. I had my own bunk in a dorm room on the 6th floor, with shared access to the bathrooms, kitchen and living space. The hostel was in a great location to go out and see local attractions. I recommend staying here if you get the chance.

I had a really nice time in Santiago Guesthouse. The work was easy and done in 1-3 hours, depending on how many people stay. The staff was really friendly, just like the other volunteers and the guests who I met in the common area. I'm glad I spent my time there and met all those great people.

Santiago Guesthouse felt like a second home for us, the staff is very welcoming and quickly became our friends. The common space is very spacious and cozy which enables chill nights and great moments of sharing, whether it is with other volunteers or guests. The work is not too hard as you don't have deep cleaning tasks (most of the time), leaving you plenty of time to explore Hiroshima, which offers a lot (the guesthouse is really well located in the city center). We are glad to have lived this experience with Santiago guesthouse and would heavily recommend it ;)

I came to Hiroshima after a long and rather hard working day in Hokkaido and was pleasantly surprised. Even the arrangements for my arrival were very pleasant, and when I arrived I realised that the guesthouse had an extremely relaxed atmosphere and I'm glad I chose this guesthouse. There were joint activities and the whole life was a bit like a very large shared flat. The work is quite relaxed, especially when there are a lot of volunteers, and at least when I was there the work could always be done quickly.

Santiago's Guesthouse the hostel was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! The atmosphere is great, the hostel is super central and the work is usually extremely fair, which means you have plenty of time to explore the city. The staff and the other volunteers were super friendly and welcoming, I felt right at home. The common area makes it very easy to make new friends, and I often had hour long conversations there. I am so grateful for my time there and the people that I've met, I really feel like a made connections that will last a long time.

My time at Santiago the hostel was my first volunteer experience. I really enjoyed my one-month stay at the hostel. The work was easy (just one or two hours a day). I met lots of great people and made wonderful friends. In the end, I extended my stay by a few days because I liked it so much. I can only recommend volunteering there to anyone! I will never forget my time at the Santiago Guesthouse and would go there again at any time!

I had a very great time here even though the weather wasn't always great. But thats why its very nice that the common space is very comfortable to relax in and/or talk to people. The other volunteers are very nice and we often did diners parties together or played mario cart. You are living in a bigger dorm but you have a curtain ans its really not that bad. The facilities are clean and the working hours where often only 2 and sometimes we even finished in 50mins but that might vary depending on season and how many volunteers there are but overall very very fair. I had a really great time👍
