I was at Asli and Haluk's house for almost two weeks and it was a very good experience. I had a room for myself during my entire the farm and all meals were included. My work was mainly maintenance and some carpentry tasks in the exterior of the house with Haluk, Asli's husband with whom I shared most of the time. Both are very good people very kind and very concerned at all times. I definitely felt at home and I would definitely recommend the experience

Overall it was a nice experience. I had all meals included and a bedroom for myself. Asli was a kind and polite host who I had interesting conversation about politics :) She even let my boyfriend staying for 2 days with us, he had only to paint her balcony in exchange. The job is easy, although the working hours weren't predetermined. She wants someone to the farm available for the whole day, so that you can't plan your day. She had a helper at the time, so I ended up having plenty of free time. I took care of the dog, did some house work and waitressing. She was very flexible with off days.

This was the first time I came to Turkey and I couldn't have found a better way to start! Asli and Haluk became my "parents" from the first moment I entered the door. Asli is an excellent cook so you'll eat proper meals every day! The tasks are easy to do and if you don't know how to do something, they'll teach you patiently. They're also very flexible so you can explore around without a problem. I'll miss this family including Balkas and Dummy (the friendliest dog and cat ever) and it's going to be difficult to me to get used to eat normal food again :(

My time here was nothing but exquisite. The warm reception from Asli and Haluk and the extended time and special moments that they sacrificed to show me around Turkey was priceless. Thank you Asli for your patience and so much effort to teach me about Turkish food. Thank you both for making me feel part of your family. I would love to be back to honour you.

Living with Aslı and Haluk was a great experience! They're lovely, worried people and are always trying to make you feel better and comfortable. I learned many things with Aslı, since the farm amazing Turkish food to knitting. It's a calm place to live and relax. Also a great place to meet people from around the world. The center of Bodrum is a bit far, but you can easily get a bus to go there and Aslı always helps with a ride to the bus stop. I highly recommend this place to the farm. Thank you so much Aslı and Haluk for being my Turkish family. You have a special place in my heart.

Its the best place if you re a traveller and you want to learn about this amazing culture. Asli and Haluk are the best, and you ll learn a lot of things about culture and food. The place is peacefull and you ll get the feeling that you are in home, with good people. If you want to have a great great experience, this is the place.

Stayed with Asli and Haluk was an amazing experience! They are very creative, kind and make me feel like home. I learned a lot with both, through artistics stimulation. Asli is amazing cook, intelligent, funny, flexible, open minded. I'll never forget my moments in that house. The place is beautiful and peaceful, I had privacy, time to rest and was possible know other cities. Turkey is great and Turkish people are awesome! So rich culture!! Thanks for everything, Asli and Haluk! You're in my heart!

Soo racism.. and they are not welcoming at all ..when she had 3 empty beds she asked me to sleep on the sofa ! and they told me that i should leave because the are going to visit her dad in istanbul ..

Khader, you are such a young guy with a great future ahead of you if you ask yourself what you did wrong and learn from your mistakes. You know that what you wrote here is not true, you stayed with us almost two weeks on a full board basis including all the meals in a private room almost doing nothing in exchange . It doesn't work this way you should put some effort to gain respect. We had to ask you to leave since we needed help in the house this is why we have this position open.

Quisiera aclarar que este lugar sę encuentra a 30 km de Bodrum y a 2 km aproximadamente de la ruta. Por consiguiente está muy aislado. Sólo me quedé una noche ya que no me sentí bien ahí. Era mi primera experiencia como wordpacker y estaba muy entusiasmada pero me decepcionó completamente. El trabajo parece que era sólo lavar vajilla. O tal vez ese era el período de adaptación. Rescato la cena y agradable compañía con el hijo de Alsi y con la misma Alsi que cambió su actitud para conmigo en ese momento.
