Emma, Lydia and all the boys in the house really make you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you step into the house. the school is fantastic and the children and teachers even more so. you will not regret going to uganda and work at the organization ❤️

There are no words that can describe the amazing experience that I had. It was my first volunteering so I was a little nervous but Lydia and Emma made sure that I was comfortable, safe and happy. The kids in the school, the teachers and the boys at home are so loving and they will always help you! Everyone will treat you with absolutely respect and love. If you come if open mind and heart it will be rewarding and enriching experience. If you are having doubts to decide whether to go or not: just go!!! You will have the best time. Now I have a family in Uganda and i will definitely come back!

Staying with the Emma and Lydia while working at the organization was a dream come true. This experience was more than what I expected and I felt welcome and a part of the family as soon as I began my stay. I think it can always be nerve-racking going into an experience like this and not knowing what to expect, but they truly provide everything listed on Worldpackers and more! I was amazed with the hospitality and friendliness, but also the adaptability of the Foundation and hosts as they were very open to letting us experience local activities, even when it conflicted with school!

I truly had an amazing experience! Uganda is absolutely beautiful! I felt welcomed by everyone I met and felt very comfortable living at the house, Emma and Lydia were amazing hosts! Visiting Uganda and living with a host there allowed me to expereince first-hand a culture completely different than my own and I will forever be thankful for this, I learned so much! The students have so much love to give and I learned so much from them. At times I wish my role as a volunteer could have been utilized more but I'm sure it would've if I was there longer :) I definitely recommend this experience!

Volunteering for RebuildHope the organization has been for sure one of the best experiences of my life so far. The Host Family is so welcoming and takes good care of you. They make sure you're always healthy and safe. Everyone at school is so thankful and kind and the kids are just amazing. They see you and don't stop smiling anymore :) it definitely is a culture shock, but if you're open minded and have a heart to help, you should definitely go for it :) I mostly helped with assisting the teachers, but also helped in the kitchen and with farming. There is fun stuff to do after work :)

It was my first solo travel experience and I loved it. I got to meet people that will always stay close to my heart and that made me feel home since I arrived. We went on a safari, that was awesome. If you're not interest on it, you can do other activities that are according to your budget. Since I came, most of the kids were on vacation, but still there was a class with kids and we got to play, dance, sing and painting faces. We also worked on the library construction and farming. Come with an open heart and whatever time you come, you will be able to help and have fun :)

50 days spent here, difficult to describe this experience in words. It was incredible and it will stay with me for life. This is a real family, and you become part of it the second you step foot in the house. The school is amazing, the kids even more! I personally also got to do construction/farming work during the weeks there was no school, wich I enjoyed a lot. If you do not like this experience: you are the problem, not the experience. (Saying this cuz comment of vol. Lorena: absolute bullshit, 1: no malaria here 2: you were literally never doing anything except sitting on the 💺
