I had a wonderful time at the hostel! The team is amazing and all the locals you meet make the whole experience even more wonderful! Livingstone is a nice, safe and peaceful city and the hostel is one of the nicest Hostels I have stayed at!! Absolutely stunning. Through all the activities you get to connect with guests and have a wonderful time. I would recommend everyone to go!! I wish I stayed longer <3

After spending 4 weeks at the hostel I would call it home away from home! All the staff were so welcoming and I had the best month. I honestly could not recommend them enough!! It was very relaxed and fun. We did a couple of activities every week where mostly everyone got involved with and it created such a fun atmosphere. The private room I had was perfect, the food at the hostel is amazing. They're flexible and helpful and being my first worldpackers experience the bar has been set so high! Thanks again to everyone at Jollys for being so welcoming! See you again soon!

I've always heard this is the best place to be in Livingstone. Today I'm sure, the hostel is wonderful. The people are super friendly and receptive, Kim is an excellent Host,with an incredible heart, always in a good mood, cheerful, friendly, and welcoming, I have no words to describe her. And equally describe each member of they team, as each of them possess exactly the qualities of the person who leads them. Kim, and also Merlyn. I will always carry with me everything I learned in this place, the experiences shared with me, the flavors I tasted and each incredible tour. Zikomo .

My experience at Jollys was amazing. The hosts Kim, Merlyn and the rest of the team were truly welcoming and a continued support system during my stay. The hostel itself is well set up, a has a great social culture! It's so easy to meet other travelers as well as locals who are more than happy to help you immerse into the Zambian culture. There are loads of opportunities to get involved with internal and external activities and the hosts are very open to any and all ideas you may have and always responsive to questions and feedback! It was an absolute pleasure to be volunteering with them!

Volunteering with the hostel feels like joining a new family. The hosts and staff are incredible, and the atmosphere is uplifting. Many guests extend their stay due to the hostel's magic and Livingstone's charm. Tasks are flexible, with various weekly activities. Interacting with diverse guests improves your English. I've seen wildlife without going on a safari. the hostel, known as the best hostel in Zambia, is undoubtedly the best in Africa. I hope my contributions made a difference. My experience at the hostel was amazing! The atmosphere is very pleasant, with a wonderful team that makes time fly by. The work is relaxed, the food in the bar is excellent and the atmosphere is always welcoming and lively! I truly cannot describe the generosity and kindness of the people at the hostel. The work is super achievable and very fun to do. There are also loads of local people to get to know, so you can properly engage in the local culture!! I loved my time here and only hope to come back as soon as possible. Zikomo Kim and John.

This is an amazing experience! Your tasks as a social media content creator is to take photos at your own leisure. There is a bar and restaurant, grocery store, and a kitchen, so you have everything you need! The pool and lobby are lovely. Thank you for everything!

I was lucky to get a last minute volunteer opportunity at the hostel and I truly loved it! Kim is a great manager and a very welcoming and helpful person. All staff members are super kind, as are Zambians in general. I didn't really work in shifts, but Kim communicated her expectations very well. The Vic falls are one of the most beautiful I've ever seen! If you get the chance, visit them also with the full moon.
