The hostel was such a great experience! The tasks were either cleaning/maintenance or reception, and volunteers had their schedule the week ahead, which was really great for planning your free time activities and trips. The people in the hostel and the atmosphere were truly amazing and chilled, I felt more than comfortable from the start! You spend time with volunteers as well as locals so you really get the full experience. And of course, Tel Aviv is a beautiful city with a lot of tourist attractions and nightlife, so you don't have to be scared of getting bored at all.

I loved my stay in Overstay. I had a very nice and unforgotable time. Very close to the hostel old city and the beach. I am in love with Tel Aviv, what can I say about it. Thanks a lot Danie for your support and love, It will be in heart forever, and I will truly miss it. If you want to have a very nice experience, do not hesitate to volunteer at this place.

Overstay the hostel is my house in Israel! I can't put in words how much I like and appreciate everything about this place... if you are looking to volunteer in Tel Aviv, be sure this is the right hostel! It's my second time here and I'm sure I'll keep coming back! Adir and Kira, I love you guys ❤️

It was my first time as a volunteer, at the beginning I was so afraid and nervous for my next three weeks there, But this team “Omer, Adir, kira, Levi” they made everything more easy an exciting for me, They were so kind with me, very welcoming As persons and how as hosts. we worked so hard all together to finish the amazing and super modern hostel that is already open to all the world and ready to receive everyone :) I'm so happy and thankful with them, that I'm start thinking that I'll miss them :) haha. I would love to return ! I recommend this hostel to everyone :)

My overall experience of hosts and hostel is positive, maybe except from location - it's really quite far away from central Tel Aviv. It's a bit different with working hours and tasks - remember, you will be LITERALLY running a hostel since there is almost no paid staff there except from two receptionists. Tasks are serious, it's 6 hours of day and night (3-9 am reception shift!!) stuffed with things to do, so almost a full time job. Food budget is a good thing though. Other activities, like going for grocery shopping, vegetables picking or staff meeting will be also taking your free time.
