Cristina y Joaquín me trataron muy bien desde el primer día y siempre preocupados si es que necesitaba algo. Se respetan los horarios de trabajo, si bien terminé realizando labores que no estaban descritas previamente, no fue algo molesto para mí. Alvor es pequeño, tranquilo y fácil de recorrer y conocer su gente. Fue una buena experiencia, muchas gracias por todo!

Ha sido una experiencia genial! Alvor es un lugar muy acogedor, con una naturaleza increíble. Cristina es una anfitriona súper amable, con mucha energía y un trato excepcional. Ha sido un placer haber hecho el voluntariado en la casa y compartir la experiencia con otros voluntarios. Lo recomiendo muchísimo!

It was an unforgettable experience! Alvor is one of the most beautiful and quiet place in Portugal, the guest house was without guests due to the end of the summer season, so we had to work on the country side helping them to move and clean, it was fun, I really enjoyed with the rest of the group we create a super nice relationship and memories. Cristina, can't be more thankful with her, once I arrived there I got sick, she was treating me like a daughter, helping me with literally everything! Thank you really ❤️ And thank to Tony, Carol, Ana, Jess and Sam without you won't be the same Ciao🤌😘

The guest house Demar was an incredible experience! Alvor is beautiful, quiet but has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants, beautiful beaches and amazing sunsets. As I volunteered in the off-season, the Guest House didn't have many guests, this way some tasks were done other than those proposed, nothing too difficult (there were also days we didn't have that much work). Cristina is an incredible person, very open for conversation, attentive and always looking for everyone to be well. I can't fail to mention amazing people I met there, lucky to have gone and lived this together with you! ❤️❤️

Cristiana and the family are the most wonderful people I've ever met travelling, they instantly make you apart of the family and you feel at home instantly as soon as you walk through the door, the work is very fair too and very easy, you're never working alone, always with someone amazing so it's a nice environment to be in, I can't thank cristina enough for everything she had done, honestly doubt I'm going to find another WorldPackers host like herself, I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone because its just the best, the location is amazing, everything is just amazing!!!

Cristina is the best hostess of all, always concerned about the volunteer's well-being. The guest house is amazing, right in the center of Alvor and the beaches are very close. It was a very good experience, if you are interested in getting to know this region of the Algarve, I highly recommend you apply for this volunteer.

Mi experiencia fue totalmente positiva, las tareas y los horarios están muy bien definidos, además Cristina es súper buena anfitriona, te trata como a uno más de la familia, lo cual hace que te sientas muy cómodo en la estadía. Recomiendo muchísimo la experiencia y sería un placer para mí volver a repetirla. Estoy muy agradecido con Cristina, su familia y el resto de los voluntarios. Ha sido una gran experiencia.

Volunteering in the guest house is simply wonderful: this place is a very beautiful guest house in the picturesque village of Alvor, and it's very close to stunning beaches. The staff is very kind and inclusive, and they make everyone feel at home. The tasks are not that difficult, and sometimes we finished working before the agreed time. I highly recommend to have your experience here! Muito obrigado Cristina, João, Joaquim e Gugu! 🥰
