This was my first Worldpackers experience and felt lucky to have been given this experience. Beautiful location and really clean accommodation with a lovely host too. Christina was always attentive and made sure we were comfortable from arrival late in the evening from flight delays. Never worked over the 5 hours a day agreed upon and the work was always manageable. Wish we could've stayed longer!

It was a really fun experience. Alvor is really beautiful and worth visiting . Cristina created a positive atmosphere which made volunteering there easy and pleasant.

Great place, great experience, great people. I'm glad my trip to Portugal ended with this experience. I got to know people from around the world and the beautiful Alvor.

This was my first experience at Worldpacker and it definitely worth it. I was lucky to be surrounded by amazing people who made the experience worthwhile. About the work, it's basically cleaning and organizing the rooms in the guest house, the work can be intense some days. About Cristina I must say that she is a person full of energy and very active, but the organization of the work schedule is not the best and this can be a little annoying. About the accommodation, I stayed in a house 18 min walk from the guest house, with all the necessary structure for cooking and washing clothes.

Gracias a los demás voluntarios la experiencia fue bastante buena. Cristina también fue acogedora. Lo único a mejorar sería conocer las labores que se realizarán el siguiente día desde la noche anterior.

Cristina was a wonderful host, extremely accommodating and kind to the volunteers. Her family made us feel so welcome. The hours were great, and had the rest of the afternoon to do what we wanted.

Me encanto el voluntariado. Cristina y Fabio nos recibieron muy bien y muy simpáticos. Es una experiencia única y muy buena para conocer a gente nueva y viajar de forma económica. La habitación en la que dormíamos era compartida entre 7 personas y con un baño común para todos. Los trabajos que haces en la casa son sobretodo de limpieza, pero también te puedes mandar a una obra o al huerto a coger tomates.

La experiencia es magnífica. El pueblo es precioso con mucho ambiente y las playas super bonitas. La anfitriona Cristina es muy acogedora y te tratan como en casa. Además mi experiencia con los voluntarios ha sido genial. Lo único negativo es que la comunicación los primeros días para saber qué tareas hacer y la organización es bastante mala, tuvimos que ir adaptandonos por nuestra cuenta. Aún así, el trabajo es muy ameno, son sobre todo tareas de limpieza y orden en apartamentos y hostel. En general han sido unas vacaciones estupendas.

Cristina y Fabio nos recibieron con los brazos abiertos y desde entonces nos han tratado con mucha amabilidad y cariño. Las tareas son las acordadas y cada día se hace algo distinto, los horarios son respetados y puedes hablar con Cristina para cualquier cosa que necesites. El resto de voluntarios te reciben amablemente y también te ayudan en lo que necesites. La zona es muy bonita, hay mucho ambiente y bastantes playas que visitar. Nos ha gustado mucho la experiencia y hemos aprendido mucho. Fabio te queremos

The experience in the guest house was great, Alvor is a very beautiful and charming city, with pretty beaches. The hostess Cristina is a very friendly, kind and polite person, always in a good mood, full of energy and concerned with the well-being of the volunteers, the schedules and tasks are respected as agreed, and consist of cleaning the hostel rooms and some tasks of construction. it was also great sharing accommodation with volunteers Marcio, Fernada, Naiara and Luis. I recommend it to everyone.
