My first volunteering experience and already so hard to top. It had been an the hotel 6-week stay. The location is very secluded which makes relaxing in your free time the best option. With bikes to get around the area and some nice walking trails I had everything I needed. Ana, Jorge, Tiago and everyone else working in and around the turismo were an absolute delight. I made friends for life and I can truly recommend this if you want to experience a quiet, country side lifestyle combined with nice, mostly outdoor chores. I will definately be back here at some point!

SAUDADE. I had such a great time at Ponte Pedra. The work is fair and feasible. The place is a true gem, perfect if you want to chill (the pool is fantastic) and discover wild beaches by bike. Ana, Jorge and Tiago are kind, respectful and always available for anything you need. From the first day I arrived, I felt very included and I loved all the chats we had together, especially at night when most of the time we used to have dinner together. I really felt like part of the family and not just a"volunteer". This is definitely an experience you don't wanna miss.

It is an incredible experience. it's about a magical place for those who know how to appreciate life and nature. Everyone in the house is the hotel . The immersion in Portuguese culture is very nice. I just have to be grateful for everything I lived there.

The hotel! I only have good things to say about Ponte Pedra. My the hotel Ponte Pedra was beyond my expectations, Ana and Jorge are the kind of people that give me hope for humanity,The team was really supportive and there was always somebody around to help. Everybody respected the hours of the shifts and the workload was absolutely doable. We had so much fun together and ate great food ! I learned so many useful skills for life in general. I will always cherish my time spent there and everyone I met will stay in my heart forever. Thank you for everything Ana Carolina

Lifechanging. This is the world that comes in when I think in Ana & Jorge's guest country house. An the hotel I had the opportunity to live. A true place to call home in on of the most beautiful and protected coasts of Europe. The hosts (including the dog named Farouk) are genuine and king, always looking to make the best out of all moments and experiences. During my stay I had the opportunity to learn to work with my hands. I've learned how to work with wood, the art of hosting, cooking skills and I even made concrete for constructions. Ana is a true visionary artist. Just perfect.

Great time and place! Ana and Jorge are the hotel and always up to help us to have the best experience during our stay. I was able to learn how to make sweets, jams, cakes and got some cooking skills haha. The hotel peaceful, you can use the bicycles to go around. The beaches are wild and beautiful. I have no words to say how great this experience was. I totally recommend it.

It was a very rich experience. The family atmosphere made me feel cozy and the food was great (I learned to enjoy vegetarian food). About daily tasks, that were varied and not tiring. Having different routines each day and the outside environment was something I liked a lot. The incredible beaches that were close to the hotel and the small towns around made my days off an adventure apart. In the end a just can say thanks to family Ponte Pedra and I hope see them again...

An experience I will remember for the rest of my life. First off all the place the place is stunning, in the middle of the wild, brings you back the sense of life, the owners Ana and Jorge are just lovely people that are always preoccupied to make your stay and work as smooth as possible. That matches with the staff too, in special Vania, that is a very professional and kind manager and Farouk “The Butler” . That happens to be a dog, cheering everyone with his endless happiness. You end up falling in love with the place and working if it was your own. Thanks everyone for everything!

I arrived to this marvellous place "by accident" and after 5 weeks I can say I've left one of the most awesome places I've ever been. Monte Ponte Pedra is a cozy place, where Ana&Jorge and the rest of the team live like a family. The good vibes are incredible there. You can feel them since the first day. The accomodation is nice, the fridge is always full and the conversations with all of them have been a continous learning for me. I only can say MUITO OBRIGADO POR TUDO !! Special mention to the king of the house: Farouk. A dog that can talk to you with his eyes... :)

I had a great time here, although they were close for a season and I was there as the only volunteer. But it was also season for renovation, improvement and innovation, so there was quite some work for me to do. The owners, Jorge and Ana, are wonderful people! Friendly, supportive, open minded and easy going, it was fun with them and never boring. It is a beautiful place in off season, I can only wonder how the hotel it would be in high season and with more volunteers. I can highly recommend this place for other volunteers.
